I don't think his role is the only thing suspicious about him by any stretch, is the problem.

So why even allow it to be tested. Just lynch it and if he is what he says he is it's basically like we no lynched it's not the worst thing ever.

That is an awfully big list to buddy up with Lopen on considering how wrong it is just on probabilities.

i think we both know exactly how the game will go in that circumstance, as well as the kind of information it would take to dispel any suspicion. no matter what i say, town is left with an uncertain perspective and will likely feel obliged to test me.

I mean, honest, if you're Town and have this role, you're playing it almost in the way you should. I'd imagine however that you'd prefer Scum to shoot you, if you're doomed to die anyway (unless you really believe someone will save you)

i thought a lot about the scum shooting me angle but figured that claiming anything that would get me shot would also risk eliciting a true counterclaim from another town member which is far less productive. i'd like everyone else to be able to keep their cards close to their chest.

I wasn't going to say buddying up specifically but I have been getting a certain sense of performativeness from Peaf for whatever reason. Gets on peoples' cases for posting weak d1 reads and then all of a sudden has a weak d1 read on a whole bunch of the game apparently?

Independently scummy.

Death suspicion is entirely due to his reaction to IGCD "dayvigging him" but it's not like I'm suspecting him and IGCD due to thinking it's theatre or something. They both just acted kinda weird independently about that whole situation despite both being involved in it.

I'm pretty mortally convinced JC and Ulti are scum atm

I considered taking you off the list because you are a null tell for me. However, if your presence there bothered you enough to post again, then I don't mind the end result.

The only time I consciously buddy'd up this game was to dumey, right before he called me buddy last night. But he turned me down.

No, you made a good reason for why you weren't including plum and jc together. It's understandable that you didn't want to buddy up.

But that's the only time i did it on purpose. The lopen agreement is purely coincidental. Who else have you been jealous of?

Also if we DON'T lynch JC today we should all submit lists as to whether we think he's scum or not even if we don't lynch him.

Why do you dislike Plum's claim more than Lopen's?

The JC scum thesis depends heavily on his scum role.

He presumably has something that is powerful but needs to live a few nights to activate. His breadcrumbs were just that-- to give him a way to stall to later.

Problem is, he got heat early and panicked, dropped his claim quickly. Inherently he thought the claim would be believable because he'd been scheming it the whole time-- problem is, there are holes in the claim. For instance, why does the role exist being the biggest one.

Also and, I don't know if this is too metaey and in bad form (I think it's fine, but apologies if you all don't like this), but like, Ben included Chang in this game because he felt more confident in the balancing by including Chang-- problem is I feel like you could have literally this exact game minus JC's slot and minus JC's role and it would be identical.

Pretty sure you've nailed me as scum on page 1 before too. With that said I still agree with Peaf regarding making "X is Town" posts on page 1. They are pointless.

My hesitance with JC here is that the claim is sort of lined up right behind his fake Scumclaim. Like, this reads as an intention claim D1 no matter what case. And I don't think that makes sense if you're intentionally hinting who you are in hopes that someone will saaaaaaaaaaaaaave you

I dont know if Town Corrik can come up with a fake flavor like that. (Because It does sound like a mean yet fitting role-joke for that character)
Because I doubt you claiming your real flavor as town
I am just finding it hard to believe you are what you say you are this early on.

tbh, I thought when JC's posts were collected, he was claiming Mio who after 3 days turns into dayvig which I would have accepted a lot more readily.

No but the Cobra Kai being scum was also slightly the miller claim being legit mostly beacuse I could see Ben doing that based off the fact Ben said Cobra Kai or Xenoblade.

So you could have just said based of it being Xenoblade the flavor wouldn't be helpful

Assuming the shot is true, i wouldn't put it past ben to do something ridiculous like put a 5% chance of success vig into the game, increasing with every missed shot

this is an odd thing to think unless you've been given reason to believe something like this might actually already exist in this game.
