So you are just guessing when mylo is if town and relying on Chang to supposedly tell you if so. So if he doesn't get a pm saying it's mylo supposedly and you don't test him and lynch town and lose cuz scum Chang didn't tell you.... like lol?

You make no sense. If Chang is scum, he isn't gonna tell you you are at mylo anyways to test him.

If you are town, you don't know anything. Chang already listed your failures. You spent all this day saying to lynch Chang cuz he is scum. Now you are saying to wait to mylo to lynch Chang who is scum still supposedly to you.

The thing about chang is that if that is his role, its neutralized and doesn't matter now anyways to scum. It's not an anti rush mechanic at all now. Like if anything it would encourage town to rush it at mylo (it wouldn't even stop anything at lylo).

Like Corrik if you want to play an idiot to show you divined me as scum or town by how I reacted go ahead.

But no I don't think "it is 3 scum to start 2 recruits" is that difficult to guess

I mean maybe it's 2 scum to start 2 recruits (3 scum because sbell lost a recruit) but we lynch Chang when game would be at Mylo based on 3 scum to start 2 recruits (4 scum since sbell lost a recruit) even if he says "but guys it's not Mylo yet"

Sbells lynch isn't worthless. Death didn't scan him scum. I dictated that lynch after deaths scan based purely on special.

He also had recruits left to make.

Honestly my memory is a bit of a blur there.
I think at first I was waiting for Sbell to claim. Then I just wanted to see what everyone else was doing I guess.

Part 1 of my ISO

Day1 Sbell liked that IGCD agreed with him on Peaf, he also didnt know how to feel about his shot claim. He later stated he saw no reason to lynch IGCD
He also liked IGCDs claimed flavor, though he still disagreed with IGCD on some matters (like 'shooting' me)

Sbell did try to make a thing of Ultis attack on Sultan and later called him scum with Han (particularly due to Han 'praising' the way JC claimed)
He also liked Lopens posts, saying they were on the same wavelength and he defended Lopen from Ulti for a bit
He disagreed with EDumey about how Peaf was buddying up to him. Minor interaction but every thing counts.
He was (or pretended to be?) not be very aware of the Plum miller situation. But he also sad he believed Lopens miller claim when he first saw it.

Anyway Sbell ditched everyone at the start of topic 1-3, so that leaves me with how people reacted to him.

Positive stances:
5tar called Sbell town and agreed with him on JC playing his role badly.
Lopen put him at number 2 in his townlist. He also wanted to lynch Plum before listening to any theories about Sbell.
HB said he felt Sbell had town energy for trying to solve the game.

Negative stances:
Han voted Sbell with a lenghty explained post. He also never voted Plum, instead trying to save him by offering a Chang lynch instead. (since nobody seemed to look too hard at Sbell day1)
Changmas was not impressed with Sbell and voted Sbell at the end of day. Didnt affect anything at that time, but a decent stance to take.

EDumey was a bit in the middle. He wanted some more opinions from Sbell, and contrasted him positively to 5tar at least. He later did feel it was curious of Sbell to suspect Plum as much as he did.

Ulti, Corrik and IGCD didnt mention Sbell (as far as I can tell)

Time to see if everyone kept their opinions day2.

Also maybe something to chew on, Sbell on cults:

I've never played in a game with a Cult before. So we are talking Town vs. Scum vs. Cult or just Town vs. Cult(and thats the scum team)? Plum couldn't be recruited, but I guess Scum wouldn't want to get recruited since they already have their own team trying to win? But then the Scum team knows their teammate was recruited and they can just kill the recruit? That seems dumb. I dont think 3 factions makes sense with a Cult unless we are talking a SK here. Oh, maybe Cult has no kill and the kills nightly are all SK kills?

Probably just a lot of bluster tho.

I got chastised at work for being too distracted, lol. So sorry if I'm a little absent until I get off work.

I appreciate that Han and Corrik are at least remaining skeptical of the claims we've had today. I think hard clearing too many people is dangerous, and I'm not just saying that because it puts me in a lot of people's PoE lists.

I also appreciate Corrik looking at the votals and coming to the same conclusions I have been.

I still think Lopen and IGCD are the top priority over anyone like Ulti though.

I've got a pool, it's full of Ulti, Han, Chang, Igcd, Death, JC. Not all are scum but I'd listen to honest lynches of each one.

If were not at mylo and you guys truly have no options, I stand by my day two thing. I have no issue getting lynched. Town only loses a vanilla and its whatever. Get more scans off and go win.

But if that happens and you people dont automatically murder Lopen the second my flip happens then you really are bad players. You could just kill him today but Im down for a 1:1 trade. Town wins either way.

I don't think we're lacking in options Ulti. We almost have too many avenues to go down right now. The only reason I don't have a vote down currently is because of the hammer situation in D3. No need to take the martyr route.

Day2 Sbell didnt think neighborizer was a townrole.
He believed and hoped IGCDs shot was real, even though day1 he said he disagreed with it being used. Cant really call that a useful change to detect tho.
He did not think Ulti, Corrik and Red were gonna be able to coast to endgame. After EDumey listed those 3 as coasters.
Sbell said that 5tar was the ONE player who didnt give him a bad feeling day1.
He still wanted Ulti to address the Sultan thing. (Odds of Ulti being a recruit probably nil anyway) and argued with Chang who called Ulti town. After a while he voted Ulti.
Sbell eventually called out Han as being too soft on him and voted Han for it. Notably he abandoned the Ulti vote to do this. Sbell also preffered Hans death over mine at the end.

Chang was mad with Sbell that he basically wasted his day1. No change in opinion there.
Before the claim, he did want me to get lynched over Sbell day2 though, but his suspicion of me was not really a new opinion for day2 either.

Han said he hadnt forgotten Sbell either. Though it took him a while to lay down the walls on Sbell. A lot of time was spent on the whole neighborizer/cult chatter.
Han did vote me over Sbell near the end, but I cant blame him for that considering he had more votes on him then Sbell.
(Well I am only saying that because I have more of a perspective now. At the time that really made me suspect him)

EDumey felt Sbell looked bad for not voting Plum and mentioned the same grievances he had with Sbell as he did day1. He also questioned Lopen about his defensiveness of Sbell.
EDumey was also against my lynch before Sbell, so thats good of him.

Lopen still had Sbell on top of his townlist. He also emphatically (is that the right word to use?) stated he didnt want to lynch Sbell.
To his credit he also did not want to lynch me, but the endresult is still him keeping the recruiter alive.

HB didnt mention Sbell directly at first but did ask Red why he thought Ulti and Sbell were scum together.

IGCD now seemed amenable to recruiting Sbell into his team (mostly as a gag) Didnt say much else.

Okay so basically nobody flipflopped on Sbell in any suspicious way. Nor did Sbell suddenly drop a thing overnight. The only part I find curious here is that Sbell claimed he liked 5tar most out of everyone.

As for the rest.
I like Han, sorta like EDumey and Chang but not as much since they didnt really do much against Sbell until I claimed. Ulti gets a minor boost from being in Sbells crosshairs. But not enough for me to believe it couldnt be a bus. Ulti didnt really say all that much against Sbell either.

Lopen comes out the worst here tho. I want to ask him if he can remember why he liked Sbell to begin with?

I thought what little posts he had made sense (probably because he was agreeing with me-- but I felt the avenues he was taking showed legitimate thought. For instance saying that it made no sense that Chang and Han had a discussion entirely on cult leader and didn't talk about shared suspicion on sbell to me seemed prudent) and felt no need to pressure a lurker that made sense when you had a lot of people that also weren't participating much. I felt that Sbell's excuse would resolve itself in time and he would be more obvious as scum as days passed.

I also felt that (like you) he was being primed by scum as a mislynch because you had a lot of murmurings but no hard pushes on him. That's why I was fairly adamant on not lynching him.

In my offense that's exactly what scum typically does though.

If I am playing this game as cult though I absolutely bus the hell out of sbell on day 2 and try to have me and a well chosen recruit with a lot of town equity just carry. Like I see why sbell didn't recruit Han but he absolutely should have recruited Han.

Like the main thing that is giving me pause on Ulti is that while he in general terms makes sense as a recruit he doesn't really make sense as a recruit THIS GAME because he was a sloth day 1 and hasn't really done any better since.

Like honestly if Ulti doesn't just blindly accept Chang's dumb role claim I'm seriously doubting myself here. Because man it's just not a good recruit.

But then taken my skepticism if hb's claim in mind I honestly think maybe Ulti isn't the recruit and hb is just implying he is in his bus so we don't consider who the actual recruit was. But I feel Corrik or Han being the recruit would be unfair so then the question is who would be. You absolutely don't recruit Chang or Hb in any circumstance, no offense. Just no longevity in those players.
