I think they mean once a device logs in from an IP that isn't your home network, you have 30 days to log that device back into your home network or it gets blocked. If you watch at home and don't use it for months, it shouldn't flag it I wouldn't think.

This is gutter trash and is going to create a mass exodus back to piracy. Netflix was only worth it for me because I could share it with my family elsewhere. I almost never actually watch it.

And thats another thing. A lot of older people have these setup by their family. Not sure if Netflix thought this out well. Theyre going to more than likely just lose 99% of them anyway.

This is the perfect opportunity for any other streaming service to step in and just announce they wont do this

I have plenty of devices that I use infrequently for Netflix. If I'm stuck in a waiting room for an extended period of time, I guess I'm just fucked because I didn't plan ahead and log in.

Traveling users who want to use Netflix on a hotel smart TV, company laptop, etc. can request a temporary code from the service when signing in. This will give them access to their account for seven consecutive days.

Lets just say someone takes a laptop for a 6 week overseas trip. If they didn't log in the month before they left they can only use Netflix for a week at most?

So if I only log in on my laptop when I'm traveling I now have to remember to log into netflix once a month at home thats some dumb shit.

When I signed up for 4 screens simultaneously, I had the intention of one of those being my mom's living room. If she can't watch it, I'm canceling. Netflix bleeds money because of their horrible business decisions. They can't blame consumers

You can bitch and complain all you want, but people will fall in line. They will get another account and Netflix will show that it works. They will then raise their prices again where people will bitch but still subscribe.
