Weapon durability applying to the Master Sword was bogus. Also the Switch is as powerful as a smartphone from 2012.

Wwll, for starters I mentioned a while back that its tedious. It serves no purpose otherwise. Is that simple enough for you?

I went back to OoT last year and found myself not enjoying it, which surprised me. I kind of felt like it had finally reached its sell by date.

As an OoT superfan (I think I must have beat it over half a dozen times growing up), i went back to it after I played through BoTW and found myself getting extremely bored. Made it as far as the 2nd dungeon and then called it quits.

That stupid weapon durability thing alone made me never once play it

OoT has a slow start. Dungeons 2 and 3 in particular are just...MEHHH.
I'd replay it 5 times more often if I could start a new file at the beginning of the Adult Link portion.

Well, thats just your opinion, because slaughtering the same enemies over and over to pick up weapons that break over and over isnt really why were playing this game, are we? My motivation to explore is supposed to be because my arsenal is shit and breaks every two fights?

That's your opinion. Yes, for better or worse, part of what keeps the player exploring and engaging enemies is the need to replace weapons. If you don't like it that's fine, but it still exists. Why are you so combative?

I'm playing Skyward Sword right now and that game is basically only dungeons. Kinda funny seeing the contrast.

I asked you if you could elaborate on what you found tedious. You did not elaborate. You didn't say, "no, I can't" or "no, I dont want to." You bitched about the fact that I asked the question at all. That is combative and pissy. Like I said, no one forced you to reply to me, no one's forcing you to have this conversation, so I don't understand why you have this attitude but you do you.

No traditional dungeons and breakable weapons are the two main criticisms levied against it.

Pretty much this and people have bitched about it for half a decade now and will still make topics to shit on the game from time to time.

No one in the history of CE has ever broken a weapon.

-Weapon durability
-Game kinda relies on surprising you with novelty rather than a fun gameplay loop. Once you get the gist of the game down, it becomes kinda mundane.
-Resource collection from different places of a map for one item you need is tedious

I didn't mind the lack of "dungeons". I thought the shrines were fun and the dungeons they did have were cool.
