I'd be kind of cool if they sold summoning animations actually. Not for all monsters of course but they should have a pretty good idea of what ones most players would be interested in.

And I'd imagine alot of players would be willing to buy one if only for their favorite Ace monster(s).

Dark Magician the Dragon Knight + Eternal Soul combo is pretty annoying.

I cannot destroy the backrow and DMDK makes backrow cannot be targeted, while Eternal Soul makes DM unaffected.

Actually the tribute mechanic is what piqued my interest in the archetype, though I feel like the Sunavalon combos do most of the heavy lifting whenever I play against them. The one time I played against pure Rikka they were pretty frail.

The manga did like a time skip I think. I guess since they haven't introduce all the suits yet, we don't know what's the one true canon, but we know the passage of time is indeed a thing

Yes, but there is a 3 year time skip after like Ch 3 or so, so it's more like a prologue. Doesn't make it ok but we don't actually know her actual canon age since there is a lot more to the story

Holy shit, also because the top 1 in Duelist Cup cheated, by default the PUNK player ended up with the 1st place. He used an extremely orthodox build with 3 of the Neos Contact thing to make Baronne.

Lol people in the Reddit thread are so fucking clueless. You don't make Chaos Ruler in PUNK unless you already drew your one of Ghost Ogre...

As a pretty recent and now a huge fan of PUNKs, I'm shedding a tear. I shouldn't have gone the 60 card build tbh, did it on a whim and it was a lot of fun but I lost a lot of duels that I would've won with pure PUNKs. Don't run 60 cards kids, it's a trap

The PUNK player amongst a few others said the matches got timed out sometimes, and they didn't get any points. They had some exploit where they can force game stoppage. Not sure if they get the points for it

Well, about Raye, considering Nanoha herself began shooting out pink laser beam of death at the age of 11, it's 'normal' (notice the quote).

Yeah after having tried it myself, Instant Contact pretty broken. You can also use this on Auroradon/Hawk combo, which is supposedly pretty good still cuz it creates the scariest board still.

Them being water also allows PUNKs to create then resolve Dragite. Baronne + Dragite with Water in GY + lvl 8 + Sharakusai (accel synchro into a 3+ bounce) + 1 guaranteed trap (pops card) + 1 guaranteed Ogre was a board the top 1 guy made at one point and it was basically unbeatable. That's a minimum too since the field spell also draws on Sharakusai resolution on enemy turn, and you can also proc another draw using Dragon Drive if they respond to any PUNK activation. Basically you just draw into one of your many hand traps

I tried the PUNK deck and it's infinitely superior to my shitty 60 card build. I realized why... the field spell constantly Pot of Greeds per turn, and he runs a lot of hand traps. Nearly the whole deck is a 1 card starter + hand traps + draw power = success, basically. It also creates really strong boards, and there are a billion cards really weak to Ogre, which is guaranteed in the hand. Just a lot of things that make this deck able to top a thing like this

Nah they're not really worth banning. Chaos Ruler will be banned, aka the biggest tap on the wrist ever, and semi-limiting anything will won't do anything because there are too many starters.

The best they can do is ban E-tele which would be a dick move, and ban Instant Contact, which means I can just move back to my many variants.

I'm honestly not sure if they would even touch PUNKs.

The top 100 is like Brandedshuzu and Sprite the most so they might put some slaps on them.

Chaos Ruler, Snow, Grass bans, semi-Mudora, limit Kelbek, semi/limit a few of the Branded stuff like Fusion or Red, any of those things would be good. Just toss in a limit on Spright Elf b4 they release Sprind could also be kinda nice. Hard to hit Sprights without outright killing them or just having them move onto some other BS. Elf limit is pretty fair imo cuz it affects Sprights the most

Oh and ban Maxx C. I don't know how this fucking card is still alive. I'm all on the ban Maxx C train. It's a shit card and let jp players quit. Don't care

edit: maybe pulling Predaplants, though I'm not sure the 3rd Super Poly is even worth it. Discard-to-fuse is too heavy for my decks not to mention variety of boards.

But what the fuck, Runicks weren't that dangerous this format actually. The Spright part was more dangerous, and they dodged banlist because they have a current running selection pack clearly.

But man I'm a fan of the floodgate hits. I don't care if a better build takes care of them better. I just want them gone. I have now drunk on the power of PUNK Sarakusai at end phase, if that means anything to anybody. But man the floodgates are such anti-pattern, I can't even

No Maxx C hit. What the fuck... Floo hit is a bit bizarre but they will be strong the instant some of the meta starts faltering. No PUNK hit either, and I love it.

People are gonna bitch mega hard about the super poly to 3. That's an indirect Branded buff, and they're gonna be meta, I'm fairly sure

Yeah Ishizu cards are all fairy. Herald is really powerful for the deck, and it also triggers the Ishizu GY dump effect for double salt in the wound. In TCG and OCG it proved to be a decent power stifler but as we will know from Tear 0 format, it will not be enough

Not excited for Tear because PUNKs fall off massively due to their reliance on GY, which is why I doubled my 60 card to include Sprights in the first place, but I also know PUNKs make a huge comeback once Tear gets hit hard, so it's a waiting game for me.

Sprights are plenty playable in Tear 0 so don't lose hope friends. Also Tear is just skillful in general so I think the people who get indoctrinated will at least have a good time

Extra Super Poly makes it harder for my turn 1 AW board to survive because 2 monsters are dark.
My Rokket deck is dead because everything is dark.

Super Poly to 3 is hilarious
Map hit to kick Floow when it's already down is stupid
Nowhere near enough hits to put even a tiny dent in Tear 0 is terrible

Fountain to 2 is a nothing burger hit but the list does make Runick Spright better than pure Runick imo. Spright can pretty easily slot in a replacement and you should only be running 2 fountain anyway.

2 fountain, 2 hugin, 1 geri.

But I expect both Runick and toadless spright to drop off when tears come out unless every tear name is released at 1 instead of 3.

3rd Maxx C will always be good.

Or save up your gems and points for Tear, since that's going to be the deck. Unless Konami hits it even harder in MD than in real life, it'll be a meta viable deck for over a year, so you'll always have something that can compete in competetive events/higher ranks if it strikes your fancy.

It's the main reason I still haven't dusted Swordsoul and don't plan on dusting Spright. Having some competetive options is always good in case it ever strikes your fancy.

I still have my Sprite intact (I spent 120 UR for it, at least I'd get some full refund for Elfs and 2 Blues) even though I haven't built any deck out of it.

After that Gaia fusion dismantling mishap, dismantling Fossil Warrior UR fusion (for REDMD), and eternal regret of dismantling my royal finish Savage Dragon for UR CP I tend to kept glossy/royal UR unless it is totally useless or if I have more.

I have 5k gems atm and I'm sure next month it can get to 10k back with events.

If you still have Sprite you can try running that. Its actually a pretty fun deck, and the non-spright support is pretty cheap, think the only generic URs for you starting board are IP:M and whatever targets you want her to link into

Sprite Twins is the most likely one atm because I have lots of Twins cards from the time I pulled for Adventure cards (only missing Sunny's Snitch and Secret Password).

Also want to see how far my AW deck could go but I barely have room for boardbreakers lol (nevermind that some boardbreakers don't mesh well with AW), but going first can they can only put a 'fair' board, sadly.

Did the Trial Duel. Got lucky and went first three times in a row, opening Destiny Board every single time. Finally got to play the Bakura deck without the need to throw 300 UR points down the drain >___>

the pack gave me nothing special, but I had some janky fun. The reptile deck seems like it could be really dangerous in the event lol, I might try a few more rounds later just to see what the other loaners are like
