Faced a deck filled with traps and counter-traps that target effects in hand/GY and negating summon of light/dark monsters (as well as Solemns in general), and a Pendulum that makes it so you pay no LP for counter trap cost.

Classic counter fairies. Been a while since I've seen it, but I think they can do a whole lot more than Artemis set counters pass nowadays. Don't they have a boss monster?

Anyways, because of their existence, generally a lot of the modern trap spam decks only specify normal traps lol

Love a good mirror match where you go first and have all the hand traps so they can only hope to maybe live by swarming the field with defense position monsters but then you just use your off recipe link monsters to topple them then end on a board that would lock down anything they can do next turn and that forces them to dip.

Man, it hurts when 99% of your effects require targeting and there on the other side sits an IP'd Avramax.

Or maybe some people just pissed off of LL's ability to ignore any damage.

Graveyard hating decks are likely going to be running rampant for a while due to tearlaments. So any decent-good decks that dont care about it?

Sadly Bird Floo. Most hand barf decks can do stuff too.

I may make some Necrovalley. Ancient Warriors doesn't really move cards from GY anyway.

Edit: also I think my Sushiptopia doesn't really use GY.

Exosisters are likely going to be the #1 anti-GY deck. Sprights don't use the GY much besides Elf, so they can probably be adapted to run Shifter and stand a better chance against Tearlaments too.

Floowandereeze can use and play under Shifter, can use and search D.D. Crow, and it's cheap to build, so it'll be a popular pick to deal with Tears even with the banlist hits. I'll probably replace the second copy of Map with a copy of Necrovalley for even more GY hate.

Field down a Diablosis the Mind Hacker to take a peek at opponent's EX deck.

They play Branded.

I instantly felt like scooping.

In the recent MCS, Crystal Beasts went to top 8, of course by NESHY, the best CB player, if not for the likes of Joshua Schmidt and Jesse Kotton especially taking interest in labbing it.

NESHY basically only lost like 2 whole games but won every duel until he finally faltered in top 8.

He was using the Conclave Control variant rather than the turn 1 unoutable board variant. He basically wrote the book on both, but he heralded the potential of Conclave Control and Kotton perfected the combo variant with a really long and complicated combo that you have to improv and make some good spell/trap destroying decisions.

But there is a very distinct lack of floodgate cont. trap/spells being used. The side board Bo3 really balances those unfair cards in ways the Bo1 cannot hope to.

They really need to ban Maxx C and every Floodgate. The only Floodgates that should exist should only meaningfully kill the toppest deck

Tbf, a quick effect 'haha no damage for the entire turn' sucks if you don't have Veiler/Imperm ready.

And LL, to my knowledge, with enough cards can extend beyond negates then poke times the number of overlay units depending on enemy board or ram the blue Nightingale into your biggest beatstick. If that isn't enough, they morph into ZEUS and wipe your board anyway.

You need max of all the mons, 1 of the Fusions, probably 3 of each of the UR spells. That's probably around 15 URs minimum aside from staples which most ppl should have at this point

Next event is Attribute 4. Fire/Water/Wind/Earth decks only! Presumably the Ishizu cards won't be left at full power (lol). Now that I think about it, Ishizu Tears will also require the 2 URs each of the Ishizu stuff. Jesus, that deck is expensive despite 4 slots being Ns by default

I might dabble with Gusto then I'll probably do Paleo Frogs. Just feels bad to do Paleo Frogs without Toad so probably not. The Nimbles are free too.

I can also use Suships, (no fusion and no Chamber) Dragonmaid, or Dragunity (but it lost Zephyros and Hieratic Seals).

Should look for Lv 4 Suship techs cards, though. Losing Utopia side and Performage Hat Tricker (lol not one per turn ss) sucks.

Because gemini, much like union monsters, are a failed mechanic they never took time to even properly expand upon and then opted to simply ignore them going forward. But also, they probably didn't want to risk another yata lock situation so they had extra reason to not even bother creating more.

Sad. Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon and Archfiend of Lightning are honestly extra neat cards.

I got a few stickers from that person. Aleister, Sword Soul, and some other 3rd thing. I put some of my stuff on redbubble too. It's cool to get your art out there but the cut you get is real piddly.

I got a sticker at an anime store the other week and it was cut fine shape-wise. But the paper and stuff was not a good quality so when I got my nail under a layer I thought "okay, time to peel the sticker" and nope. It was the top few layers of the paper and ink but not any of the sticky back section. So that was $6 down the drain.

Tear do be interesting but since Ruru doesn't get an animation I'll settle my metadeck with Sprite. >_>

I tried rammed Tear monsters by battle but I forgot Ruru grants battle destruction immunity...and there are two of her in the field lol.

I still need 60 UR to finish my U.A. deck. Because if nothing else it's fun as hell to play.

What the fuck. Tear deck had destroyed everything in my field and hand and still was comboing for over 5 minutes and I only dipped then because if the guy is gonna showboat instead of finishing me off just, what the fuck is his deal?
