It's a nice flavour, but I'm not a huge fan of the texture --- This is my signature. It exists to keep people from skipping the last line of my posts. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Yes, it's delicious. I make goat cheese and tomato pizza somewhat regularly (I'd love to add spinach too, but baking w/ it has always gone poorly). I get a 4 oz. log of it and use half for one pizza, then another half for a 2nd later on. It is quite a mess trying to add it to the pizza, but dries out and firms nicely in the oven. ... sveksii posted... ? I've yet to experience one that doesn't feel like toothpaste that's been left out for a few minutes. Also, I don't care for the flavor, most of the time. Basically finding one I think at least has decent flavor, which has happened all of once and I forgot where it was, is more effort than it's worth to put something like that in my mouth. --- http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb179/EntityXIII/entityfn7.jpg ... sveksii posted... ? I'm mostly thinking of chevre, which is what usually just gets called "goat cheese" with no other name in my experience. Feta is great, though most of the time feta is made with more of other milks than goat milk (if it even includes goat at all). --- This is my signature. Revelation34 posted... Do you make your own goat cheese?Goat cheese requires goat milk, which requires goat babies. And while I've had goat babies, I usually let the kids have the milk. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/5/1/9/AAQwHjAAEcTn.jpg Plus milking goats is different than milking cows and I've never learned how. --- Minutus cantorum, minutus balorum, Minutus carborata descendum pantorum. ...
