I've been getting good pulls with my typical deck that has 2 5s and 1 6. Often end up with all 3 in my hand on turn 5. White Queen helps too.

No idea what kind of deck to make though. I'm thinking a Kitty/Beast/Angela base with High Evo sprinkled in with the goal of dropping a huge Hulk or free Abom. Maybe Sera instead of Beast.

Hazmat on 5 and dropping a free or 1-2 cost Abom on turn 6 seems pretty good. You could also try an unspent energy deck but that one feels less good.

Might be a good idea to tech Luke Cage into every deck for HE mirrors though.

But also any stat that can affect cards needs to be tracked in the UI. I don't know why they haven't done that yet. There's limited space but they can add 2-4 more numbers easily.

The industry standard for card games seems to be "it's your job as the player to take care of that stuff" so there's definitely less pressure to implement that level of tracking.

But yeah it's a bummer you have to rely on deck tracker apps to show stuff that should just be baked into the game.

Yeah the problem with that is that it just gives a massive advantage to people using third party apps. Used to always bother me in Hearthstone how people would have apps to track their deck whilst I was playing blind.

If everyone was on the same playing field then cool but they don't do anything to stop third party apps so it isn't

I feel like Kitty has to be considered in different terms compared to other 1-costs. She's really a higher cost card with the benefit of being able to split the cost between turns. You have to build a deck around her while Nebula can just fill in an extra space and generally work out.

the only possible nerf they should consider for kitty is for a cost reduction (via beast) to only apply for the next turn and not following turns. If you beast her back into your hand on turn 3 she costs 0 for the rest of the game. they should probably only make her cost 0 the next time she's played, and then back to 1 when she gets bounced back again

other than that i think she's balanced

Nebula's +2 should be more conditional. She should either only get it until your opponent plays a card there (i.e. you don't have to do it every turn) or only get it each turn whilst you have more cards there than the opponent.

Like yeah only having to play a card there once is a massive nerf for her but she's only 1 cost and forcing your opponent to play a card in a lane ASAP is worth 1 cost in isolation.

Edit: Or I guess they could just flat out make her cost 2. She would still be one of the better, if not the, best 2 cost out there as it would protect her from being destroyed

They could just make other 1 cost cards better. Quicksilver is ass other than guaranteed to be in your hand turn 1, but with decks so small youd likely see him fairly quickly or wouldnt care if he didnt get played anyways

Yeah, I edited my post and maybe she should just cost 2 thinking about it. She would likely be the best 2 cost card out there even at 2/1 as she is protected from Killmonger and the opponent has to keep her in check each turn.

So she's either 2/1 and force your opponent to play here each turn (if dropped on 2) or guaranteed to match the 2 cost base statline with additional control if they even skip 1 turn there.

imo split the +2 into +1 for each turn your opponent doesn't play a card there and +1 for each turn you don't play a card there

Per a developer response on their official Discord sounds like some kind of change will be coming to Galactus in the future, his rate of play has passed their comfort zone. Doesn't sound like they know what they're gonna do yet, just that they need to do something

Make him cost 1 but can only be played turn 6.(he can still destroy the other two lanes if played with something)

Keep him 6 cost but add some power to him and he is the only card that can occupy the lane on your side. (Like he takes up 4 slots so he could not be played on Throne)

He eats the location he is played turning it into a 2 lane match.

I love crushing Galactus so it's fine by me but he does seem overplayed. I was showing the game to my friends and the first game was Galactus so I had to explain that it's basically a different game so ignore it for now.

I honestly don't think Galactus needs a change. Overplayed but not overpowered, he's just a simple but heavily telegraphed deck. Figuring out ways to outplay him van be super fun.

I keep fearing this but I think I only encountered it once, and it seemed like they didn't draw him since they could've won with him, but lost with their plan B

I respect a Galactus player that can effectively do this, but I think they are psychologically predisposed to playing Galactus whenever possible

No Ability filter needs some work. Sure Rocks and Squirrels dont have abilities, but Debrii and Squirrel Girl do. Kinda surprised HE exists when the game only has like half a deck of No Power cards he works with

Those no-ability tokens get affected by Patriot, thats why the cards that make them get sorted into that filter

There doesnt need to be a full 11 cards with no ability to make HE worth it, in fact using all 7 that exist right now in one deck is probably not a good deck. Picking a handful to build a deck around will be much more successful.
