Well I was giving him the same level of respect as I would give myself in not making any clarical errors and realized on thinking about it that was probably not the best read. So I isoed red and his content is pretty meh

I'm feeling worse not better. Given it's only day 1 I don't think me being at 25% ability matters very much at all, but my powers of critical thinking are especially shot right now

Having said that, that wasn't at all the explanation I expected from Chris and that makes me somewhat concerned. I went from thinking Chris was pretty firmly town due to his machinations to being skeptical again. Changing his mind is way more flimsy than I expected his reason to be for flipping on red

some random unstructured thoughts

ulti - town, 70ish% confidence. he hasn't made a the 'signature' argument yet to say somebody is 100% scum with logic that makes absolutely zero sense to me (but is made in great earnesty) but he's already locked in 3/5 of his scum members so far so i think we're headed in that direction soon and i look forward to locking this in with 100% confidence in the future

sbell - town, 80ish% confidence. stunlocked by ulti already and i haven't effectively seen him replicate/fake that as scum so he's alright in my book for now (stop being stunlocked by ulti though!!!)

ctes - town, 50ish% confidence. 50% confidence is a lot for me on ctes because i always think he's scum but i feel the approach he's taking in this game is quite genuine and i felt his questions of marth were logical and well-thought out (especially considering marth wasn't directly answering questions back or rather was giving somewhat roundabout answers)

death - scummish, very low confidence. i am always scummish on death, this is known. really this is just here instead of the unsure section down below for me to say i will be on your ass immediately if you fail to vote at the deadline tonight

plum - scummish, middling confidence. my read on plum is always his engagement and interest level in the game. low interest = more likely scum. and well, his interest hasn't exactly been great here. there's been some talk of him feeling under the weather and if that's the case then understandable HOWEVER he is also absolutely one to use that excuse as scum to stay in the game longer so i'd say give him 46ish hours of the way through day 2 to see what he can put together and if it's still looking like a poor effort at that stage it will be time to vote him up

marth - mostly okay with, middling confidence. i feel like marth really had no idea what he was in for posting a list when we've got the most anti-list people imaginable in this very game and he really got raked over the coals a bit unjustly. there's some sort of expectation that a list of people has to be fully reasoned out and not just gut checks. i'd lean toward town who's just being a bit weird and anti-b8meta, even though i haven't been totally satisfied with him choosing to answer many questions by saying he just does stuff differently. i don't feel strongly enough to really stand up and oppose his lynch though and i feel it likely provides more info than basically anyone else

lea - lean town, middling confidence. i feel like the entire case on lea hinges on whether this post was a calculated performance or just spur of the moment typing and sending.

Mzero is my mason and therefore a member of the blue team. however, he's trying something new this game by not tunneling on someone day 1 so i will remain cautiously optimistic and wait to see where that pans out. I think the 'attacks' (for lack of a better word in my brain right now) on Red are fairly standard to literally every game I've ever played with him. It'd probably be harder to find a game where Ulti didn't put red down as scum on day 1. After being tricked by red in some other game a couple months back though I'm unwilling to lean town on him solely off of day 1 though.

Chris is someone I don't particularly feel capable of reading on day 1. I think it's equally possible he's genuinely working through the game via deductive reasoning process versus steering the narrative away from particular things or people, and I'm not confident in my ability to distinguish the two off of solely 40 odd hours of messages. I'll return to evaluate this in the future with the benefit of having more information and flips to work with.

peaf i need to come back to. i had bad vibes from him at some point but i also skimmed over a bunch of his posts because i wasn't feeling it. will do so sometime before the deadline and figure out on him though. tentatively snake in the grass or whatever that phrase is though, but don't have more than a gut check to support it atm

Every thing I've said about ultis play this game from his attack on marth to his opinion that you cannot be read town day 1 no matter what has been all in game state reads of him in this game.

my perception has always been that it's less that he gets voted for being inactive and more about being perceived as unhelpful when he is active

and for one thing i don't actually think his defense of marth is particularly bad at all. not that i was in the last game at all but red made observations based on what his experience was and set clear boundaries for what he felt was town vs. scum behavior for marth. your argument is that he was deliberately misrepresenting that experience as a defense and i just don't see it

i'll concede though that perhaps the reasoning for voting him has changed (because I can't exactly get inside your head and tell you what your reasoning is) but i'm seeing it as all the same because it's all the usual suspects who are always overly willing to vote him on day 1 for things that i am consistently unbothered by

The read is fine but just keep the 'no no' when ulti is trying to move on out of it that's all I ask.

I have town reads on you both so I am trying to just play a bit of peacemaker as difficult as that can be
