Cody, you said you felt neutral about Lea after her Marth vote but then kinda talked yourself why she could be scum, if I'm reading correctly. Was this if Marth is town only? What did you think of Marth yourself? You mention him a fair amount without making that clear?

Wallz, if you are town, you should absolutely still voice your opinions, even if you are afraid you are wrong. You didn't get Death and Sultan killed by vomiting words, Death was maybe on you but due to not full claiming and Sultan was everyone wanting to test. Worst case it helps clear you. I want to think you had this thought in good faith, but it's a big fallacy.

Joyrock, you said you had your eyes on SBell and Peaf, which I'm pretty sure has been all you've said, so how has keeping your eye on those two went?

Chris, you should detail your town reads more if you have 7/16 as that because it's a lot.

Ulti probably can't be scum with any of SBell and Red but I think Ulti is town, so that's hardly a big point.

Alright, Imma go play more Tears of the Kingdom until people start waking up.

Corrik - I liked their vote on Lea as it agrees with my thinking, very no nonsense corrik is usually town corrik
Marth - he feels more awkward here than he did as scum which I think fits meta that he prefers scum
Sbell - is my mason buddy and saw the good in marth
Red - is too paranoid to get facts wrong as scum (he and lopen are very different players)
Mzero/peaf - they put in THE WORK ob marth so sure let's townread them both
Plum- did a town plum thing of arguing for a lynch for the worst sounding reasons. 'He will suck the air out of the room' is plum doing his best to think of the town in a weird plum way.
Ulti is running around claiming princess he can have a day I trust if he isn't town that will be sorted quickly lmao

I give you 8 town reads which you say is a lot and no follow up? Who are your own reads?

Eh, smile at my joke line about you making it sound like you would have solved the game if you played more or ignore it.

Then I will look happily look back at this if you eventually flip town.

I think your cases on SBell, Plum and Red sound like no tells, but you have also played with them for like decades so.

My reads are something like

Ctes is town
Ulti is probably town for wanting to claim dumb stuff
Marth is probably town for taking heat and keep on doing his thing
SBell looks towny because scum SBell tends to have some reads on someone that are poorly argued and I don't think he has anything yet which fits more with early town SBell

And these are thin enough (and few in numbers) that I was hoping to get conversations going with a bunch of the players that has posted little to nothing starting with the two that could be here doing dead hours. Unfortunately it seems they were not.

I don't feel as confident on Ulti being town as you guys do. Ulti as both town and scum will make up bad fake claims and run around waving that flag. It's a null tell.

He's manipulative and will use emotion and anger to disguise himself. His rage over being accused of lying when I caught him a few games ago was over the top and misplaced. The fact that he needed to bring that back up this game just feels like a smoke screen.

Ctes can be a town lean for now as well. I like how they are giving me some pushback.

I like Ulti's response to my vote. I feel he gets a little more defensive as scum, such as in Tekken when he was like "oh I was just joking" but here he just kind of talked about other stuff. I feel pretty good about Ulti as town atm

Marth feels town here, but I can see switching things up right after going to final three as scum, so I'm keeping an eye on him

Peaf I feel like is town. His posts feel genuine and like they're coming from a perspective of trying to solve the game

wallz I'm leaning town on because he said he screwed up a bunch last game and was going to take a more mellow approach. It felt too honest to be scum making excuses in advance to be afk. Also his give peaf a chance joke was too funny to come from scum

You do realize you just lost the game by suspecting him. Part of mafia growth is realizing when you have a bias that has been proven wrong a couple of times (I remember you two bickering a lot in poke wars)

it's not a vendetta. And i do know that my choice to believe marth and lynch ulti caused a game to end poorly for town.

I can actually separate one game from the next. (unlike some people). It wasn't till his full on rage and anger over things outside of this mafia game did I truly suspect him this game.

he'll have the opportunity to prove himself town. Just don't approve of so many people prepared to town clear him at this point.

Still a defensible lynch. The role needed to be checked, plus he gigaconfirmed ctes scum. Disagree with Corriks belief that roles shouldnt be tested, otherwise we create a meta where scum just claims weird shit that never gets checked.

This exchange feels like town Ulti to me. Ignores my reason for voting him and just says I'm wrong, doesn't answer the question, and when called out for being wrong changes the subject completely. The lynch being defensible has nothing to do with my day 1 gut being wrong. Maybe I'm putting too much stock in the recent Tekken game, but I feel like Ulti defends himself more as scum and as town just kind of deflects

Yeah I didn't say vendetta. I said bias. As in something about ulti makes you suspect him a lot.

I just want you to know that you going in on this so early just... is fodder for scum ulti every time you are wrong. Got to tune the read because I know as scum my favorite villager was spiral. Suspected me every game. Could never get me lynched when I was scum.

the "bring it back up" part was in regards to him quoting my post from a few games ago where I accused him of lying about working or being scum, not about last game where i lynched him in final 3. But I hear what your saying.

It was actually ultis post about you Chris that made me feel so much better about marth because he was slamming marth for reading you town day 1. because in ultis mind that is an impossible feat.

But I will let that one alone for now.

I'm not certain on who we should kill just yet Chris. I've been waiting for word from the host that Crescent would be replaced but that never happened. we could just make his life easier and eliminate that player spot for the good of the game state and see where things lie on day 2. but that's just a cop out.

I'm willing to follow onto Lea, she certainly hasn't given me the good vibes yet.

Hmm. How confident are you that marth is a similar scum player to you though?

I trust Ulti to be smart enough to have fixed what exposed him as scum back in Tekken mafia, so I dont put a lof of stock in his pranks with the princess claim.
His willingness to vote is good. But I cant put myself in his mind to figure out of his whole vendetta thing is a scheme or not. It escalated so quickly from my perspective.

Though I do like what Mzero and Ctes have been posting recently. And while something felt off about Peaf at first, he has improved as well (so maybe he is just evolving)

The way this is proceeding, I worry I will mostly get townreads tho

I also didnt even notice Wallz was in this game, but even that seems to have understandable causes.

Tbh i think you only solved the final 3 because the neighbor spent time overnight educating you. Prior to that your play was not something I'd be proud of in your shoes

Chris has posted more than he had this point of last game, I'll give him that. Yet, Marth called Chris town very easily there as well. It is so bizarre to me that, if Marth is town this game, he is so trusting of Chris that he launches him straight to top town. The more likely answer is that both are scum once again :)

Oh and Marth is the lynch. He got caught, and its pretty clear most everyone else knows it. Its why today is so slow, because I think scum is staying quiet/hands-off in hopes we special someone else.
