I did 20 twice on the betas so Im gunna fly through this beginning shit tonight and hopefully not lose steam

Looking at some gameplay being streamed, is there a way to change the camera perspective? It looks more down on characters than I'd like, another reason D2R is superior.

It zooms out depending on the size of the mobs and such. It's very subtle. You get used to it IMO.

Hows everyone liking the Necromancer? I hear mixed things about it in this game.

Seems kinda busted tbh, but wont know really until endgame, im just running enhanced summons and throwing bone spears at shit right now lmao

restarted because I couldn't progress act 1 due to invisible walls and now I can't get back in

If you're stuck and not able to click on anything on that initial menu just let it sit for like 5 minutes, how are you stuck tho

the queue finishes and it just says start game pending.

did that once and then it went back to 4 minutes remaining up to 28

I couldnt even do the first part of the act 1 quest line because every entrance to the zone was black by an invisible wall

yeah I logged in fine this morning and when I got home from work

the trouble started after I logged out

38 just beat act 3 and got the mount finally. I would have been much higher level if i didnt start bee lining the main quests.

Im too sleep tonight and work twelve hours tomorrow so I just got one level and climbed into bed, act 2 picks up some?

The first known player to hit the Diablo 4 max level cap is here. Diablo 4 Twitch streamer and YouTuber Rob Rob2628 has reached level 100 in the Blizzard RPG game after close to three days of almost non-stop blasting. His success makes him the first person to reach the milestone and publicly announce it, although the method by which he got there shows just how strong playing in a group is in Diablo 4.

Rob, who has adopted whats widely considered to be the best Barbarian build, primarily focused on shouts and the whirlwind skill, has been almost exclusively playing in a group for most of his time. He hit the max milestone about a full level ahead of the second-placed publicly listed player, and more than two levels ahead of the players in third and fourth.

That may not sound like a big gap, but the grind is real no matter which of the Diablo 4 classes youre on. In total, Robs playtime to hit max level clocked in at around 54 hours since launch, and its estimated that the exponential climb in required XP makes the final ten levels almost as long to complete as the first 90 put together.

So what was the trick? That ones actually been somewhat a point of controversy. By using a group-based exploit where the lead player leaves the party, you can quickly and easily reset the current instance of the dungeon youre in. This allowed Robs team to farm the Champions Demise dungeon over and over, taking down huge numbers of elites in quick succession helped by how strong Robs character was prior to the Barb nerfs in this mornings Diablo 4 patch notes 1.0.2d.

Ultimately, its in the game, and while it does seem like its probably unintended Blizzard has yet to comment on whether they have a problem with players taking advantage of it.

As for the hardcore side of things, where players must contend with the ever-looming threat of permadeath, Max wudijo who you might remember from his solo clears of Diablo 4 world boss Ashava during the games pre-launch server slam is currently top of the rankings at level 85, which has been thrown around as the rough estimate for the halfway point time-wise to 100, after a similar amount of time playing as Rob.

Its worth noting that wudijo has been playing his trap-based Rogue build entirely solo, however, and of course has to build with less damage output in mind in favor of enough survivability to keep him alive on the already-fragile Rogue. The hardcore race to 100 is still very much on, then.

Just started messing around with a Necro, trying to find something I like with it. My earth druid is like level 45 and I have a couple other random 10s or so. This isn't a season yet so just playing any and everything to see what I like right now.

i did a Druid on server slam and enjoyed it more than I did 1-20 necro, but Im starting to like necro more now that Ive got all my minions and shit now

Yeah, kind of doing shadow damage with corpse explosion right now. Want to ween myself off of using minions since my druid is kind of miniony. Want to have SOMETHING different. lol

Aspects im running:

1. Makes trample earth magic and whenever i use it, it causes 6 landslides every few feet during the duration of trample.
2. When i make a landslide it does it again in the same location for more damage.
3. Makes pulverize into earth magic and causes tremors for dmg over time.
4. Gives +2 to earth skills when fortified which is all the time basically.
5. When enemies are close, heal for x amount per enemy every second up to a certain cap.

So my werebear is a melee earth magic hybrid. Whenever i use trample over long distances, about 36 landslides come out on screen and its so ridiculous, i love it.

I am seeing the potential for how aspects allow for a lot of intertwining and variance. I bet there are a bunch more links like this to try.

not sure what you mean. Act 4 is really short. The story seems like a mess, but is presented well for the most part.

I feel you. I only finshed act 2 but im a high level since there are a million side quests, events and dungeons that keep staring at me.

Instagig#1748 if anyone wants to add me and maybe play at some point! Work for 5 more hours but definitely putting in hours tonight

Up to 36 with Barb and there have only been a couple things I really had a problem with soloing on T1. one was the first stronghold southeast of the first main hub, I had to upgrade and gem all my gear so I could barely beat it.

I never use WW type skills in ARPGs so Im using Upheaval. works pretty well with frenzy + steel grasp + leap but it can be slow

Just beat act 3

Lvl 46 sorcerer bout to just side quest to 50

I'm lv 37 and I don't think I've even finished Act I lol

Just been doing side quests as they become available and dungeons etc

T2 all day

Not sure how I like that you can get to 50 so easily way before beating the campaign. I want to unlock tier 3 and higher enemy levels.

the cap is 100 so you have plenty of leveling to do after finishing it

So what level are you around at end of campaign? I heard it goes to 100?

Ive looked up nothing at all on the game I just bought it and played

Yeah but enemies are capped at 50 through tier 2, meaning XP comes very slowly and it gets brain dead easy then. Tier 3 is goes to 70 and 4 is uncapped.

yeah I just realized you can't unlock t3 without finishing the campaign

guess Ill have to start rushing it and do less side quests
