Those who stayed on the sidelines in 2016 while Trump won, honestly. Hindsight being 2020, electing Hilary would have likely prevented this bullshit. At the very least I am confident in saying that Amy Coney Barret would not be on the court right now if Hilary was oresident in 2016.

It wasn't just them, as they were a very vocal minority that haven't proven to be reliable voters. There were plenty of people who were moderates turned off by the Clintons, as well as Republicans who were encouraged to come out in droves against her. Not just one of thise factors sunk the Democrats in 2016; all of them working in concert did.

Perhaps the biggest one was people sitting on the sidelines, and it wasn't just Sanders supporters who did.

Overturning Roe was the worst. Literally kills people due to the dumbass laws now allowed that fuck up women's ability to get treatment for non-viable pregnancies.

Web designer shouldn't have ever gotten to the supreme court due to no one having been harmed yet. Though the end result is what you'd expect when everyone was in agreement that the actions involved were a type of speech.

Affirmative action can be mitigated by using other criteria and some states had already banned it.

Student loans thing is something that really should be done via congress. So if you want that try to get the democrats a house majority and a real senate majority next election.

Of the entire year? Most definitely repealing Roe due to the actual deaths and serious health issues it is causing. As well as the loss of bodily autonomy to a large portion of our population on the moral side.

But of this final session? The gay couple website because it allows businesses to segregate. I expect "No Coloreds" signs to make a return in the South.

Women no longer have control over their own bodies
Minorities can now be discriminated against legally
loan forgivess is only for corporations and the rich

I hate it all but what I hate the most is the web designer case was completely fabricated yet only a few people are reporting that and this supreme court and republicans have effectively been given a huge go ahead to flood the court system with frabicated cases designed specifically to make it to this court so they can rule on them in favor of whatever Conservatives want, I fully expect that a false case challenging gay marriage has either already been filed or is working it's way up to the court next just in time for after the election because these right wingers know if gay marriage is done away with then Biden basically moonwalks to the white house and coming with him would be a possible bluer senate.

We don't have rights in this country anymore, our system is horrifically corrupt for decades to come and the only ways to fix it are virutally impossible at max and extremely unlikely at worse.

So other things that worry me that are signs for the future are stripping away even more environmental, worker's and various minority group protections because the more people to exploit means the more money and power the select few get to have even through they already have so much already, the greed is insatiable like Vegy's need for strange abuse fantasies and Pineapple's weird relationship with his tupla wife sometimes sister, it's like a hunger, a thirst.

I believe the biggest L from the SC is allowing businesses to refuse service to LGBTQ individual. This opens a whole can of worms for businesses to refuse service to not only them, but to all Americans. If you're American you deserve to be treated like any other American period. Discrimination should not be allowed in any capacity.

Student loan forgiveness. This is the only lukewarm decision they made. We already decided that big cooperations can get bailouts. So their reasoning behind their decision was dumb. However, if the President can't make that amount of money disappear so be it. Just take the decision to Congress and hopefully they get it right

Affirmative action. I get what they were trying to do, but America as a whole is not ready to drop affirmative action. We have tons of racial issues that have yet to be resolved and affirmative action is one tool to try and equalize racial inequality. Had we not had Trumps dumb rhetoric that emboldened racists we may have been in a place to get rid of affirmative action right now. In this timeline, that's not the case.

Probably Roe if I had to pick one.

That being said, one can have any opinion they want on the rulings, but I think it's pretty concerning that every ruling (except the religious exemption one) was 6-3. Party line voting, which does not seem good for an "impartial" court.

Overturn of Roe doesn't ban abortion is bans care to mothers with troubled pregnancies. Forcing women to carry fetuses that are stillborn to term is evil and dangerous. When the fetus is dead and doctors can do nothing to help the country is full of zealots thinking its the 19th century. So many women have been told they can't get help until they are sick enough to be in the ER.

TC's question loan forgiveness is the easiest pill to swallow rest bring the country backwards which is what conservatives want a country stuck in 50s with only white men in power.

Roe v Wade is easily the most controversial one IMO. The wedding one I'm surprised there's such an outcry. I thought this was settled with the cake debate a while ago. It's the right decision IMO. Should an LGTBQ person be forced to make things with crosses or Jesus? It's not about refusing business it was about free speech (It was about a website design)

Depends on the state. In mine you can only get one if the mother's life is at risk. If the fetus isn't viable and will destroy the reproductive system but not kill the mother, you still gotta carry.

I never said anything about what I thought, so leave that out of it. My point was that you do a lot more harm to your own cause by suggesting anything extreme like... jailing your opponents like some kind of authoritarian.

You can't defuse extremism with more extremism, and history suggests that if it has ever been done then it was by luck and not because it was a calculated, rational response.

So wanting to jail criminals is bad because they also happen to be "political opponents"?
