This is precisely what everyone should do. Do not update until they force you, and open every cache that wont be a Spotlight Cache

EDIT: I guess the downside is you still have to deal with the old versions of Evolved Hulk and Wasp lol

So along with the Loki season pass 3 cards had their abilities revealed (probably subject to change, but right now they say this)

So heres how the regular Collection Level caches work now:

Theyre in buckets of 9, in between 2 Spotlight Caches. Before they were in buckets of 4, remember.

In those 9 caches you will get:

2 Series 3 cards (or 50 Tokens if you are complete)
1 100 Tokens
3 150/200 Credits (50/50 chance of either each time)
3 Cosmetics (Variant/Avatar/Title, 40/30/30 chance of each respectively each time)

Actually no, because I used Bast and play them on 6, she's kinda useless to me

The fact your card can convert to a pool 3 Variant if you already owned a 4 or 5 one is pretty bad too, but alas not surprising because these games are NOT trying to be anything close to friendly

Only had 12 non-SC reserves saved up but in that I got 1700 tokens and 500 gold.

not sure if I'm gonna hold my spotlights for next week or the week after. I think I want Iron Lad more than HE, and Echo seems more useful than Legion, but getting HE is certainly tempting. I've been saving up gold so I can get this big BP bundle, maybe I'll just buy HE with tokens.

Legion has a lot of annoying potential with his ability. Locking down every location copying Flooded and turning every location into Rickety Bridge or something else awful

If he works like the location that becomes a copy, floodings would get one turn extra before locking.

Which, if playing on 5, is useless.

with Legion being a 5-cost, copying Flooded isn't gonna be that useful I don't think. There are certainly other nasty things he can do but it relies on a lot of variance. Certainly more useful than Snowguard though

The Youtube video where they revealed him used Flooding as an example so it seems like it's not going to give an extra turn:

Depends on how they code it. If the location become a direct copy (so like a raft that has already triggered wouldn't give a free card in the other two lanes) it would lock the whole board, but if they become a new instance of the location in the other two lanes then the new floodings would still have one turn after legion is played.

Unless it's been coded completely differently, we already know from Mirror Dimension how copied Flooding works. They've had mistakes in the videos and other promo materials before, On the game's blog they said that Shuri+Phoenix Force would double both the power of PF and the revived card, but it actually only doubles PF (which is consistent with how every other card interacts with Shuri, so I don't know how they made that mistake to begin with)

Well the difference with Mirror dimension is that it copies flooded before it floods. So you flood on 3 and mirror copies on turn 4 so yeah turn 4 is the last turn cards can be played there and it floods on 5.

But with Legion on 5 it resolves before turn 5 ends. So then turn 6 starts and all of the lanes become flooded.

But we'll see I guess, this game is full of spaghetti code.

They did say the spotlight variants would only run once, so it does makes sense that it would be a new one.

oh interesting, I kinda figured they would be repeats. And maybe just change them to new ones once a year or every six months or something

Yeah, Im just surprised Knull is repeating that soon I guess. 9/5 also has Jeff as a spotlight which is cool. Kinda sucks how some of the cards for new characters have been datamined for ages and still arent in the game though. How long do I gotta wait for Gwenpool.

Oh awesome I got another Spotlight Cache, but instead of giving me Jean, it gave me the random one with Stature, who I have, which gave me a freaking Agatha Harness variant.

Killmonger is apparently bugged right now. He's killing things that have adjusted cost of one instead of base cost.

So if you played Miles as a 1 cost for example, he would die right now.

More stuff not working as intended is pretty sad.

Mecha Morbius was WAY too good a value at $5 so now it says $20 apparently. Everyone wouldve bought it at $5 for 1k tokens and 500 gold

So Spider-Man 2099 does his effect activate at every location when he moves there for the first time or does he only activate once, the first time he moves to a new location?

This game seems to be burning my phone and draining my battery way harder after the update, the point of causing the game to slowdown pretty severely after a couple matches in 60fps mode.

Opened my non-spotlight reserves. Got Deadpool, Wong & Red Skull. Also got some 1600s Dagger variant and a Jen Bartel variant for Rescue
