Whenever I talk to a guy that likes to sleep around, I never understand the point. They almost always talk like the woman herself is annoying to be around. But they seem to fixate a ton on the sex.

I dont understand why dudes put in so much effort just to sleep with women so much.

Like, when women sleep around, theres at least an air of Im just picking a guy for the night.

Dudes have entire movements based on how to successfully convince women to sleep with them. It just seems kinda dumb to me tbh.

Is casual sex really that great? To warrant going through the process over and over again every weekend?

Sure, but its at the cost of an immense amount of time and money. The only other habit that has a similar time costs is drugs. And like drugs, youre not producing any benefit or skill.

The goal is the sex. They want lots of sex, without all of the extra work that comes with maintaining a relationship. That's hookup culture in a nutshell

The difference you're seeing between the effort men and women put in, is because women are the gatekeepers of sex (and men are the gatekeepers of relationships). Men have to convince women to sleep with them, while women just have to say yes or no.

It's this. They attribute getting laid to manhood and success. There are a ton of men in society who view getting laid as a massive accomplishment. How many sad clowns out there do you know that are depressed and feel like absolute failures in life because they're 21 and a virgin?

Too many, for me.

It's alot more work for a man to live like that than a woman. Those dudes have a routine that works for them that involve more time and effort. That kind of life style just isn't for everyone and that's ok.

I don't think we're avoiding so much as that's often not the case in these situations.

Someone who's fucking because they like to fuck will typically have a few people they know and can have sex with regularly. Not the kind of guy who'll try to pick up a new girl every weekend and see if he can bang them once or twice before ditching them.

I think it's a pride and ego thing. They have some sort of insecurity about some aspect of their life.

But no one can claim they haven't bedded a bunch of women. Because that's important. That means they're a man. A manly man.

Video games for the average guy is one of the few things they may ever receive validation and praise in their effort and hard work by the masses outside of one's good at getting woman and sex.
