It's really bizarre how people want to shift responsibility from Will Smith for his own actions. She didn't somehow magically convince him to storm the stage and slap a comedian in a couple of seconds. Even if she was upset and wasn't laughing it was Will Smith who went up there and slapped.

people have this impression/belief about their relationship, and its dynamic, due to a few interviews (or what they heard second-hand about the interviews).

first the conversation was that she was cheating on/"cucking" him with that August guy, but then it turned out they were separated (something that was initiated by him).

she came out and made it public, which is questionable for a lot of people, but that's what her red table show was about, and the main reason why that story took off was because it also involved Will and their married life.

from what we've seen (what was made public), I disagree that she comes off as manipulative, but I don't make any claims about her (or Will) that they haven't made public.

To be fair, I don't think anybody is actually defending his actions (well, except cjs, apparently), just moreso not buying Jada's excuses that she had nothing to do with it. Both of them suck, that's my stance. Pretty simple.

I would assume a slap, at least a less severe one than the one Will delivered, wouldn't be a big deal if you knew it was coming, but a person just walking up to you and malicicously delivering one to your face like was done to Rock by Will Smith is clearly an assault that has both physical and mental trauma.

I really don't care if you want to have a weird argument about the degree of slappitude as you seem to be gearing up to, but let's not do that. Rather regardless of how you seem to sillily think it was no big deal, you still seem to be assigning blame ro Rock for it.

Unless they had a prearranged agreement that Will would slap the shit out of anyone who made a joke at Jada's expense, what realistically could she have had to do with it? She did exactly what normal people do when they get roasted in public, make a clearly exaggerated display of looking annoyed.

Actually Jada took the joke well. It was Will that overreacted and slapped Chris over it. But she shares some blame for driving Will to that point where he would destroy his career for her.

That's what I mean, she didn't get pissed or look truly wounded, just did the good natured "annoyed" look when you're the butt of a joke but not making a big deal of it.

Yeah contact happened but it's fundamentally hard to care that much when it's just a slap. There's a point where I checked out of the drama when everyone online acted like Will caused Chris to bleed on stage, nor is it worth talking about with anyone either.

The Jada stuff I do not know what to make heads or tails of though. The simple fact is there's no real way to determine why she's speaking about this in this fashion. All anyone has done is give theories based off vibes.

If my mother acted like she did, I'd verbally fuck her up and break off all ties, and I had no money of my own until pretty recently. Jaden should set that bitch straight.
