Oh, how time flies... Plus, to be fair, there were also 30 new mega evolutions introduced in X/Y, which were also new designs and functionally almost like entirely new Pokemon. If you include those, that takes X/Y up to 102 new designs, giving it more new designs introduced than gen 2, gen 7, and gen 8. Xerun 10/12/23 12:00:06 AM #10:	I think had Z actually released then theyd be remembered fondly. I really enjoy everything X and Y added. But it was clearly missing content. I tried Sun and couldnt get halfway through. Not a single Kalos Pokemon got a unique Z-move or Gigantamax form.
