Yeah, or refresh either work. Like, maybe the message will keep appearing I think? But if one extra click is all that is needed to continue stopping the ads, then, I am A-Ok with that.

Stop using Chrome. For Chrome is made by Google, so Google knows if you have an adblocker on it's browser.

Google also owned YouTube, so it has motive to get you to stop using an adblocker on it's website.

Use Firefox, or Brave, or any other browser not owned by Google.

Ublock and YT are in a perpetual war at this point. Last year, I randomly got ads on YT and Ublock was enabled. Hasn't happened since but I laughed that YT finally got through after all this time.

Exactly, and I got infected twice via an ad in the past. Now, I don't take any chances because websites never vet the ads before they start showing them. That, combined with how obnoxious and invasive they are nowadays, and can we be blamed for blocking them?

Been getting that message too
I use adblock because I don't like obnoxious ads, autoplay ads, or ones that give me maleware/viruses.
So unless websites can guarantee no maleware/viruses I'm not turning it off.

Testing out an extension called Ad Skip Master. If it does as advertised, it is supposed to silently play ads and skip them for the user. So, the user doesn't see the ad. But, Youtube will think that the ads did run and revenue is earned.

Doesn't really matter when an adblocker update goes live way faster and only needs to circumvent certain things while google will need to do a ton of testing so it actually works and nothing else breaks.
