I think it's pretty normal for decent people to enjoy when misfortune befalls those who actively advocate and work towards evil intentions/deeds.

Republican voters want a Christo-fascist country that specifically caters to their religious beliefs and skin color at the expense of liberties and freedoms for all the demographics they openly despise and wish to see removed. Seeing conservatives mentally break is the best thing that happened to me today.

They ruined the fabric of modern democracy, they can suck my balls. The truth has been out there since before Trump took office, they only believed in him because they willingly chose to be wrong.

Most of the people I know IRL who still vote Republican just do it because "low taxes" or they think "Dems give away their money to bad people" or they're anti-abortion.

The GOP congress is literally currently blaming the Democrats for not saving them from themselves.

However, one thing is that people reference a lot of stuff about floyd(watch the ENTIRE body cam footage, he was a bad dude(yes obviously we all know this), the knee wasn't on his neck, Chavin was following procedure from the academy, a second autoposy, BLM intimidating jurors, etc but nowhere do they touch on Dr. Martin Tobin's testimony about how this could have happened. He was probably the most critical testimony in the trial in terms of the medical side of things...but nowhere does anybody bring it up.

It's weird because I haven't seen much about Floyd lately because the trial is over and done with, so to see this brought up again has me thinking. I don't know all the facts about it, but Tucker Carlson is not the person i'd trust to actually get to the bottom of it and tell us truthfully, but no mention of Dr. Tobin in that thread, which you'd need to bring up if you want to actually "combat the lies" and prove this trial was a sham media circus and Chauvin did nothing wrong. However, I have not seen this particular episode of the Tucker Carlson podcast to see if he mentions it.

Okay.. sealioning. I did not know that was an actual term. I see a bunch of stuff from 2021 so I assume this is a relatively new term.

why is it called sealioning though? Is it because of the comic? Or did this term exist before the comic? And if so why? Are sealions known for being really persistent or something?

honest question. I get the meta joke about me asking for more info on this. Im honestly fascinated by this terminology. This is my first time reading about this and how it came to be.

i will say the comic makes a bit more sense now.

though I feel like my initial point about the set-up still stands. So the lady was a bigot and then the sealion asked her to back up her bigoted beliefs.
