Haven't watched it in probably 20 years. It's enjoyable, but there's a problem. Sisko keeps smiling and smirking, and it looks so fucking weird. Like a bad video game smile. Am I the only one who thinks his smile looks weird as hell?

Avery Brooks is cornier in the early seasons due to the hair and no beard. He looks like an Oblivion NPC with that cut.

The shaved head and goatee around season 4 or 5 is absolutely transformative.

Brook's acting as Sisko always makes me think of those presenters from middle school science videos. The kind your teacher would roll in and there'd be some guy that's just a little too excited to be talking about Venus and Jupiter and shit. >_>

Yeah Sisko is kind of the weak link of DS9

He does get better but the supporting cast absolutely overshadow him.

Bashir, O'Brien, Quark, Odo, Garrick **** even NOG.

DS9 was a kickass show man.

Quark is probably the only Ferengi I have ever liked, and Garrick just stole every scene he was in.

Yeah, Sisko can be a bit hammy at times.

Hawk was awesome. As soon as Sisko looked more like Hawk, it was all good.

Love DS9 by the way.

The actress is SO FUCKING GOOD at being space Karen.

Gul Dukat is a better villain in terms of writing (We don't talk about Season 7) but Winn has to be one of the most irritating villains of all fiction. She's so fucking smug and despicable.

People love to talk up Dukat but Winn doesn't get enough credit for how well written spiteful anxious bureaucrat she is.
