It had nothing to do with morals or evil, prices were going up and a ton of people were losing their jobs and loved ones while the president pretended nothing out of the ordinary was going on. Way less people take moral failings into account when voting than you think. The thing that sunk Trump was that everything was falling to shit while his hands were on the wheel. That is a lot different than warning that if someone does get elected, things are GOING to happen.
