I feel bad for Beetlejuice in the movie.

He was upfront about what the deal was and ol girl agreed to it.

He held up his end of the deal by saving the ghosties and scaring off that fat guy and his flunkies.

Then Lydia tries to back out of her end? No wonder he was pissed.

He didn't coerce anyone, she asked him to help her. He demanded a payment, she could have refused.

he did trick her. she wanted help, but she didn't ask him to kill anyone. he twisted her words with the "but you didn't say" bullshit and used it as a loophole to wreak havoc and take advantage of everything and everyone

I got food out of it? I love theater, so no reciprocation was needed. She spent almost $500 on tickets + food, so no matter what I was attending. Plus, this one was funny as fuck. Best one I've seen since Book of Mormon.
