I had a productive conversation with Red last night. Mostly, it was me giving him my reads and thoughts and asking him for his own analysis. So I benefitted a lot from having somebody to bounce ideas off of and validate them, though I guess it helped knowing that there was a 99% chance he was going to die last night. So many questions I asked him were to help me figure out a direction to move for today.

But it looks like I don't need to say much here. Mostly everybody except Chris has a bone to pick with Sultan, and I'm also in that pile. I will, however, veto a triple kill. It'd be funny if it worked, but if it doesn't work? Yeah, no, let's not bungle this game after lynching the impossible with Peaf's flip D1.

I will say, Red advised just taking the inno scan on Chris as a confirmed town for now.

If we flip scum, and they're the Godfather, then Chris is cleared. If that scum is not the Godfather, only then we can start allowing Godfather fear.

It's not worth wasting our energy at Chris. I do find it baffling that Chris found Sultan towny, though. Sultan has had a very inconsistent game thus far, and that's something even Lea pointed out. It's funny, because I had this exchange with Red last night:

Kirby: "So let's run a hypothetical. Suppose you die tonight and Chris waltzes in saying that Sultan seems town to him based on their night discussions. What would be your impression of that situation?"
Red: "Chris' reads are mostly bogus and don't have any more worth than anything else. thats at a glance i need to take a closer peak at sultan's posts when i get a chance here"
Red: "i dont know how much of an impression they will make on each other though"

Before that point, I had even asked him what he thought of the discourse around Sultan at the start of Topic 6:

Chris has looked terrible to everyone this game and is now failing the heat check

If he's just scanned town he doesn't care about dying that much. The game is still very winnable. He'd start solving

I mean, unless somebody can come up with a very convincing defense for Sultan, I think it's pretty clear who needs to die today. And while I did just say that Godfather fear doesn't make sense to indulge in at this point, Sultan's flip tells us a lot about Chris.

I just woke up after one of the most excruciating migraine days of my life. And now I either need to find a way to sleep again in 5-6 hours (after being mostly asleep for the past 18, when I wasn't clutching my head or throwing up) or stay awake until sunday night to fix my schedule.

I also need to replace fluids and eat something I can keep down (dinner? breakfast?) so bear with me while I catch up.

Regarding my date with MZero I generally thought he sounded fine, but wouldn't full clear him based upon anything he said. We discussed the possibility of who might have been a scum/scum pair from day 2 and my bet was on Ulti/Dumey and he settled on Sultan/Chris with a heavy dose of godfather fear on Chris. He might have already mentioned some of this, I need to start reading today still.
