I think I would lose to the average person who would get into a fight, but have better odds if an average person just gets poofed into an arena with me.

Where did you pull your statistics from? I have a hard time believing the average male weight being 136 pounds, not knowing what internationally encompasses I still have a hard time believing that. That is low. That would be like me fighting some little kid.

Is that really considered average? I thought people were taller and heavier nowadays.

Probably not. I'm 47, out of shape and my last fight was in highschool. I have never really had an adult fight. So I am not confident in my ability to fight.

probably. I'd have to lose a few lbs, but I was a 2nd dan in TKD in my late teens, and practiced submission style wrestling so I do have some knowledge on how to defend myself.

I'm jacked and have very minor amounts of training. A regular person will allow me to let loose all of my 2 stripe white belt bjj glory. My vast array of skills involve like 2 things that I legitimately understand when and sort of how to use them and like 5 things that my professor told me to do but I don't know wtf I'm doing and don't understand when to use it in real life but I can go through the motions taught to me. Then another few things that have been shown to me repeatedly but I don't understand in any way.

Probably not. I'm taller and heavier than the average guy, but they are probably stronger. I also don't have an aggressive bone in my body, so they'd likely be more willing to keep the fight going than I would be.

Sorry, not sorry I have the metabolism of a god and can scarf down a full pizza every day for a month without putting on more than 5 pounds max.

Anyway, I know how to do the yoshimitsu kidney punch so yeah. It sure won't be clean and I'll probably take some hits, but I've never lost a fight and have no intention of losing that record.

I am a large judoka. The average person is average sized, minimally conditioned, and minimally trained, if at all.

Converting these American or British imperial units to the metric units thay we exclusively use in Denmark, that would be roughly 175 cm (height) and 62 kg (weight).

I think I'm taller and heavier than that, and I believe I might be able to potentially beat the average man in a one-on-one fistfight (assuming my opponent isn't a trained expert martial artist and has similar or inferior fighting skill to me).

idk. bruce lee was like 5'8 and 140, so just barely above that average, and he'd prob beat everyone here at the same time.
so, even tho i'm a lot taller and heavier than that average, its tough to say. i think for a majority of the average, yeah probably, but for a lot...who knows?

Average male height (international): 57.
Average male weight (international): 136 Lbs.

Theres like, 6 women total here. So not collecting their average. But obviously think of average woman if female.

How do you fare, CE?

I could beat most of CE's ass except those 6 women. I would be too scared to fight them.

136 is light. I've recently learned that in the Asian continent that people say that 136 is normal weight. But to most of the world that's on the light side. And before you argue, I'm not American.

I'm not a master or anywhere close to it, but trained in martial arts and wrestled throughout my whole childhood. I'm confident I can kick the average person's ass.

but I think I'd lose anyway since I'm too violence-averse and I don't think I could bring myself to effectively fight back

If forced to fight, I could, and would win more times that not against someone 4 inches and nearly 90 pounds lighter than me. but I'm not a very aggressive person in nature, so I don't know if I can just haul off and start eating on someone unless provoked.

Also, is this a sanctioned fight, or a street/bar fight?

I'd absolutely wreck an average person. Not chest bumping, I used to box, know how to throw a punch, and fully know how uncoordinated the average person is in a fight without training.

America is one of the taller countries in the world-- lots of places the average guy is like 5'5. And America is obviously fatter than most places too.

Voted yes, as I'm a lot bigger than that and I'm also going straight for groin & throat shots if someone starts a fight with me.
