I dont think there's much analysis to get out of the "alternate" trains day 1. They never felt like true alternates. I think even the scum team was committed to killing Knightz by the time the brothers reveal happened, just to silence him and stop him from spewing the whole team in his downfall. A majority of the players in the game had decided Knightz was today's lynch at about that moment.

MI reached 2 behind Knightz but his train completely stalled. It's either because scum were already on him or because scum were afraid of exposing themselves by jumping to him and it's probably the latter if I had to guess.

frankly i'd prefer to get the show wrapped up before the 24hr mark actually and end the day just before it. i'm a little scared that the "lopen vanishing" role isn't a one time use and it would be pretty underwhelming if the leading man was taken away before his big moment, y'know?

I would mega appreciate if you let day run its full 48 hour course today. Like I said, there's a lot to discuss today, and 24 hours is not nearly enough, especially if your big reveal necessitates a lot of discussion that MZero may want to chime in on.

Not that I'd propose ending a day in 3 hours anyway but it's kinda just stalling us

The reason I thought it is because on re-read and in hindsight Knightz was super rushed with his role claim and was 100% slipping when he said he's been taking time to put it together lol.

Taco (who knew more than he probably should lol) even called out Knightz saying he's clearly scum because of how he is rushing to fake claim.

Its why I town read Ulti for provoking the panic out of him, and FD and Chang for capitalizing on it (and Taco for calling it out in real time lol)

However, I'm reminded of the time in Valentine's Day Mafia when Corrik, as town, truthfully claimed back-up Cop because the real Cop wouldn't out themselves, and then used that to indict Lea, the truthfully-claimed Town Miller. So honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Corrik was being an absolute buffoon again this time, as well.

Though admittedly, that back-up Cop claim had way more thought to it than any of Corrik's awful fakeclaims as scum in previous games, and this "Blade is guilty" claim reeks of shitty scum Corrik fakeclaim.

The purpose of the question was to discern if Lopen may have been doing something at that time that might explain him being targeted at that time.

I imagine FD was speculating just as much as the rest of us. Until somebody claims Lopen's vanishment or that role flips, we can't know for certain how or when it was activated. You're getting too lost in speculation that nobody has concrete answers to, Peaf.

Also to assume I would ever as scum even consider wasting a power on making Lopen of all people disappear is frankly pretty insulting not gonna lie.

Lopen is a huge part of why scum won Bloodborne and was practically our MVP.

My point is that you just as equally don't know when the action was submitted. I also don't think it's worth digging through Lopen's balderdash on the hope of finding something that made scum fear him. However, that's because we don't know whether the action to vanish Lopen was sent in 24 hours in advance or if it was sent in mere moments before our host whisked him away.

The timestamps could have very well have been a coincidence, even. We don't know. We can't know. So we shouldn't take those timestamps as gospel at this point in the game.

We shouldn't assume anything about Lopen's circumstances until we have definitive proof. That's the point I'm trying to make here.
