I'm Elroy Patashnik, Town Jailer. I'm basically doctor who also roleblocks their target. I've got confirmation from the host that my roleblock can suppress killing actions.

I targeted Wallz last night. Assuming my action wasn't tampered with, I believe it's highly likely that I roleblocked a nightkill attempt, as I don't think scum would've shot Wallz.

Originally, I was planning to target MI. My thought process was that scum would probably use a Strongman kill N1, so I'd play my role more toward the roleblocker side than the protective side and attempt to stuff the kill that way.

Then I woke up yesterday morning and remembered that MI was on Ben's town list. So I took his non-town list and picked someone from there, which ended up being Wallz.

This is why I suddenly threw shade at MI near the end of Day 1 out of nowhere. I wanted to leave behind a trail that people could follow in the event I died.

Iirc part of that argument is that Blade wouldn't be the one to send in the kill. This is Wallz.

Ill do my best to stay current but will be mostly busy with my kids until deadline, unfortunately.

My role is confirmable. Id really prefer not to have a repeat of last game where town power had to out themselves to live but Ill do my best to monitor that situation and judge accordingly

What Wallz said near the end of D1. I was hoping he said more about it, but this was it.

It's possible. It's also possible I could roleblock the strongman. I wasn't sure, and if I assumed strongman was gonna be used regardless, I might as well have took the gamble on the chance that my roleblock actually would've worked.

I don't see another Doctor-like role existing. Maybe Bodyguard. Maybe Bulletproof. But like I said earlier, Doctor could park themselves on MZero, and MZero could just act as a secondary Cop scan the entire game by baiting a nightkill, living, and then condemning the person he taunted.

This is another reason why I instantly believed Taco to have been truthful about his claim. Because my role acts as Doctor that also roleblocks, it prevents the possibility of turning Taunter into a secondary Cop scan.

I mean, Corrik is obviously lying. Any doctor using their brain would protect MZero. By protecting the Taunter who can stop nightkills just by taunting scum, it'd effectively act as a doc save + cop scan in one action. That's massive, especially if we have another dedicated investigative role.

Now, that's assuming the doctor isn't an idiot, at least. Protecting MZero is very clearly the optimal play here. Which is why I'm interested in hearing who MZero targeted last night, because it's more likely than not the reason why there was no kill last night.

Kirby, why do you write this post confident that there's a doctor in the game?

I am not good at reading Corrik and his bluffs, he is definitely firmly in the poe. Blade immediately countered the claim though and Corrik didn't bother insisting it was true. Made it clear to me it wasn't serious.

Of course its confirmable. It just requires backing up a confirmable role. If needed Id let the majority decide who I back up, I dont care.

Yes, I can answer that. Why the f*** are you all going at Kirby here. Blade already stated Corrik was BSing, one of them had to be lying, clearly looked like Corrik, that one was already dealt with.

Kirby looks way better in this same time. ISO him for day 2, it all checks out with what he's saying. Kirby was also the vote that cemented Knightz kill when people tried diverging from it.

I say we kill kirby and worst case werw wrong and wallz can just back him up...

I didn't want to claim today until MZero confirmed he didn't taunt me. And if he did, I'd simply not claim, because then my action didn't actually go to Wallz.

On the off chance Corrik was town, he probably would've drawn a shot if I don't counter him. Corrik has done this before as town vanilla. Otherwise, if he's scum, I'd be playing right into his hands by counter-claiming.
