Oh I didn't talk myself out if it, I'm just aware that I've been on red for like 3 days now so I could be biased. It's still what I believe. I'm open to better suggestions but I haven't seen one yet and I'm not going to spend time theorizing myself when I don't buy it.

You know what's hilarious is that if they're scum then Kirby caught scum Ulti while trying to prove Ulti was town.

A Ctes scum flip nearly confirms a bunch of things.

Ulti scum vote stealer
Red town that scum tried to frame
Death town (Ulti wouldn't fake an innocent scam on non-godfather... Unless they both are but yeah)
MI town that scum is trying to silence

Also more possible evidence: if Ulti is vote stealer, it means he DID target Ctes night 1 like he claimed, and he would've been seen dong it.

it makes absolutely no sense that scum would use that to redirect a scan instead of kill through protection if they could. maybe they're explicitly not allowed to send the factional kill at someone in the redirection/BD, like its a condition of the ability?

But really, Ctes has to have one of the most convenient claims I've ever seen.

Also if town thinks there IS a scum redirection out there it can be used as an excuse for night actions not working properly moving forward

If he starts cursing, hes usually scum. My issue is there was no actual reason for him to claim like this. He has an innocent scan on him, no cop ever scans the same player twice, and he could have safely claimed vanilla (or whatever).

Occulams Razor says Red is scum here and they were expecting a redirect into whatever the hell ctes is, but I got roleblocked.

but frankly I actually think he's more likely to be scum because he's not mad enough. ctes is someone I have pegged down as 'getting mad when he gets a stupid role' and getting bad outcomes four nights in a row when he's estimated it's like 80% luck i feel like he would be more mad than he is

See my role is super easy to attack no matter how it is presented.

Town should try to look at who eases into that in bad faith because 100% scum is trying to eye a mislynch option right now they thought they didn't have when I was scanned innocent.

Kirby may have completely broken the game by blocking Ulti though... Even if it was for the wrong reasons.

The claim isn't just convenient, it's more or less claiming to be so powerful that he cannot properly claim today, but the question is what could be have?

We've had 3 protection claims. Has he reacted to any of them? IGCD claimed town killing long ago. If Ctes could kill, why is he letting IGCD live and not just counter claiming vig?

Some kind of niche investigation role that has yet to do anything is essentially the only thing that makes any sense. In that case though, with a claimed cop, doctor, and jk, is it really going to be that strong as to completely dissuade claiming?

He's hinting at being super powerful but I don't know what the power could actually be.

Hell no one's knows if you even scan guilty. Maybe you are the godfather and had to give up your vote to scan innocent, got scanned and then kept it going out of fear of other investigation until Sbell died.

Okay, characters in community who could be a Bookie:

Coach Bogner from the Billiards episode. He makes a very with Jeff about whether or not you can play billiards in shorts.

Juergon, Karl, Lukas or Reinhold. The German Foosball players. They wager access to the foosball table in a match against Jeff.

Richard, Joe or Pearl, the 3 old friends of Leonard who in one episode are bad influences on Pierce and are seen playing poker before the Dean showed up to break it up.

Characters not seen doing any gambling or wagering: Starburns

He has star shaped sideburns
He gets a lizard at one point
He does drugs
He sells drugs
He fakes his death in a drug lab explosion

That's about it.

And there might be even more better suited characters for Bookie, but there's also the fact that Ctes has yet to demonstrate any actual Bookie-ing.

But based on the partial claim information we have from Ctes I'm sticking with this:

I think ctes is Evil Troy.

Evil Troy loses his voice when trying to eat a flaming troll roll (yes, really) and he is later seen speaking using some kind of mechanized voice box.

So I think his two options are to stay silent (lose his vote) and scan innocent (because he looks like regular Troy)

Or to keep his vote (voice) but it gives him away so he scans guilty.

I am not really mad about losing the four bets though.

The annoyance comes with the reaction today. This couldn't have been remedied I I full claimed either, we would be having slightly different discussions though.

This is a scenario in which he could be scum and Ulti could be town but.. He really has no reason not to keep giving his vote up?

I feel like the case that SBells role is purely terrible can't possibly be made in good faith either.

Sure he does, scum being able to influence the vote is important and now he doesn't need to give it up. And yes he could have just waited until MYLO but maybe he thought this would make him look more like town to reveal this now.

Ctes really seems like he's setting up to try to call me scum.

I'm literally not. The ideas are that scum kept their votes away from themselves for 3 days or that I have a role that can discard vote for scanning innocent. Neither is the simplest answer at all.
