You'd be surprised. Assuming the map that I found is accurate, they could actually drop multiple small yield nuclear devices on the strip, with minimal damage to the surrounding area. Fallout is kept to a minimum by detonating above ground.

You can play around with it. Change location, yield, detonation heights, etc. to get an idea of just what it would do.

This is not strictly true. Nuclear weapons vary in size; ones at the very small end of the scale could do considerable damage to Gaza with fairly little effect on either Israel or Egypt, if the wind conditions were favorable in terms of where the immediate fallout went.

To be clear, this is not condoning or advocating such an attack, whether or not it affects Israel and/or Egypt. The idea of doing such is utterly horrific and anyone suggesting it should be condemned.

I think it's more than fair to call Biden out for continuing to wag his finger while still providing them arms.

Biden might be able to be pushed to do better, and even as is, sadly, he is still orders of magnitude superior to the average Republican.

Still, biggest push should be to actually make him do better. There are people who have lost family and friends to what's happening in Gaza, those people probably won't be easily swayed to vote Biden even if Trump would be worse, because Biden has likely crossed their red line.

It isn't logical to sit it out and maybe let Trump win, but it isn't a good strategy to just chastise and mock people with some concerns and reservations, since those can go very deep.

I've seen people on this board effectively mock Arab Americans for being hesitant to vote Biden, saying that they more or less should get ready for the camps here in the US if Agent Orange wins. That was slightly paraphrasing, but that is a disgusting sentiment, to hold that out. It is reductive and won't do much to actually convince people .

I still plan on voting Biden, even in Missouri, because at the very least I care about harm reduction. But at some point these leaders should be pushed to do better, if only because they might actually help their chances of winning election if they do. And I do get tired of people more outraged by people who are pissed with Biden than they seemingly do at what Israel is doing.

Now you're going too far in the other direction. The very smallest nukes are comparable in power to the very biggest conventional bombs. You can go close to Hiroshima size - about 300 times as powerful as the biggest conventional bombs - while still keeping the significant effects (and most of the less significant ones) contained to Gaza.

Yet again, not condoning it, just speaking pure technical details here.

Republicans are also talking about seeking impeachment against Biden for denying Israel the arms they want for wanton war crimes after they held up arms aid to Ukraine for 8 months and no doubt got so many Ukrainians killed as a result in addition to Russia regaining territory.

I truly cannot express what I wish would happen to every single Republican in Congress without losing access to the site.

Just truly repulsive creatures that are a great example of why Humanity should never be allowed to leave this planet and destroy other ones.

Even if you want to genocide everyone because you're a sociopath, you wouldn't want to use a nuclear weapon right next to your own country for obvious reasons. They're both evil and stupid. Grahams comments were so extreme that even Welker was taken aback, unsuccessfully attempting to interject as the senator talked over her.
Can I say this? Graham continued. Why is it okay for America to drop two nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki to end their existential threat war? Why is it okay for us to do that? I thought it was okay."
