Peaf has received a gun. Peaf is from now on host confirmed to be TOWN. Peaf will have to shoot using the gun within 24 hours, that means before 6PM ET on Monday. Peaf uses the gun by posting "##Kill: [PlayerName]" in topic. If Peaf shoots any town they will die along with said town. If Peaf shoots a member of MAFIA, only the MAFIA dies and Peaf survives. If Peaf does not use the gun within 24 hours, Peaf will kill themselves using it.

In the meantime, no votes will be counted. Day resumes as normal from whenever the gun has been resolved and ends 6PM on Tuesday, 48 hours from now.

Anyway, I'm pretty upset that Corrik didn't make any attempt to claim with any amount of time for us to react. He was in topic enough to read Foolmo saying for doctor to protect him, but decided to post about that instead of simply posting, "im cop"!?

Very demoralizing. I understand if people put their sights on me for that, so I won't argue against it. But man the cop was the ONE fucking thing I didn't want to hit.

The question now is did Corrik blind vote Foolmo and post doubt about Foolmo because of a guilty scan on him? Or would Corrik just tell us if he had that scan.

That sucks to lose the cop. I'll take the blame for assuming there could be no downside to killing Corrik. Lesson learned, at least for a good 6 months, lol

Does this out of the blue Mzero vote mean he scanned Mzero innocent?

Because he makes no mention of Mzero before this. Mzero isa good scan, and i would think if he scanned Mzero guilty, he would have said so. I dont get why he didnt just say he scanned him innocent then though, unless he really had no time to type that

Im Kathy, town singer. If scum uses their night kill on me, a random living townies role pm gets shared with the scum team.

Hopefully youll realize Im town but if not, at least scum doesnt get the benefit of a random town pm. Given the lack of night kills, there are definitely still valuable town identities worth protecting.

Protected Peaf again, but was actually roleblocked.

Also I can 100% confirm a certain player who targeted me last night. I'll wait for them to ask me to make the confirmation whenever they want, just say the word. I'm not sure how their role could be a positive for scum at all, so I'm certain they're town.

I want to review corriks day 2, but Id like to think Corrik would have been more obvious if he had a guilty scan.

about to head out to a little party but after last night I think I need to claim immediately. doubly so after seeing no one died.

Right now I am assuming I blocked the kill one way or another last night.

To be more clear about what I said yesterday, I had my suspicions about foolmo because it feels like way too much protection to have in a game of this size, but we literally just had doctor + jailkeeper last game so maybe there was something I was missing about the setup. Still not totally sure.

not sure at all where I land yet with all this information but I have to go now, be back late tonight but will be ruminating on everything.

Some ideas I had:

Ben started the momentum against Corrik, Dumey sealed it
Corrik hints Peaf and Death town
Ben defends IGCD and Wallz while fingering Corrik
Chang actually buries Corrik by moving off Dumey, by saying there was no traction, but with my Dumey vote it would have been three on Dumey and two on Corrik
I finger Ben and Chang hard for this
Sbell or IGCD to round out their team
The only question is why Ben and Chang would be so early on Sultan D1 like that

Corrik expressed doubt about Foolmo when he said "If Sultan went after Foolmo then Foolmo is probably innocent" or something like that. So I doubt he guilty scanned Foolmo because of that

This could be mafia RB, and the scum did did an intentional no-kill to set me up as a JK'd scum. But when I die and flip doctor it would totally blow Wallz up. Terrible strategy for scum when they're already down 1, and don't seem to have any extra kills. I'm inclined to believe this claim for now, based on how bad of a fake claim it would be. But then, scum MUST have an assassin or something against a doctor + JK.

Also, everyone agrees there's 4 scum total, 3 remaining right? Like Corrik and I discussed all the way in D1. Absolutely no SK.

I think if you're secondary protection in a game with a claimed doctor, you almost definitely take the high EV play that scum targets the doctor. I don't have a problem with Chang targetting Foolmo there.

Is anyone opposed to a mass claim? I think this is one of the best ever cases for it.

Cop is dead. We have an uncountered doc claim and a jailkeeper claim. Our most important roles are seemingly either dead or outed. I think it could help peaf make the right shot.

Mzero absolutely needs to give a good reason why hes being tight lipped. Its sure as hell not because hes the cop or protection.

This sounded very fake to me at first so I am conflicted. So fake you might as well have claimed vanilla. So now I'm back to thinking you're telling the truth! Its just a slightly different town princess. I guess its the RNG part that i hate, but there was RNG just last game

That's what I was thinking too. Or at least from anti-town.

If they could give it to anyone and picked you, then that means scum expects or hopes that you will shoot town over anyone else they could have given it to. Which is kind of insane since you have access to spectators. That makes think scum wants you to shoot someone Lopen was adamant about killing yesterday, like Wallz. That immediately tells me you shouldn't shoot Wallz lol

I take zero offense. I cringed when I got my role pm. Its an awful role. Ctes was 100% feeling cheeky when he made this, because scum ctes recently used this as a fake claim and Blade immediately wanted his head on a silver platter.

This would make sense as a sort of risky extra kill. Pretty fun role.

I think I like a mass claim here as Wallz suggested. My only concern is if town doesn't have any scanners other than the cop, then it won't be too useful and we won't get enough info to solve the game.

One plus is that scum used their results stealing ability on claimed doc and claimed JK already. That's 2 pieces of important info they could've use to fake claim, which is now useless to them. It seems like they would have trouble fake claiming here.

Scum with a way to steal results, and to copy a power and redirect, makes me suspect we have to have more than 1 scanner in the game

So... why did Corrik get lynched?

Two protection that can stop kills feels like too much in 13 though. Especially if we add Wallz who is a form of shot protection. Cant actually stop kills, but would give scum a negative effect for shooting the wrong person.

So the assumption is that scum shot Foolmo last night, and Chang protected him. The other possibility I guess is that Chang blocked Foolmo. But that seems unlikely because scum also used their results steal on Foolmo last night, when they could have used it on looking for a scanner. And the results steal is pretty much confirmed now with Chang also claiming it

IGCD its now day 3 and youve done basically nothing other than a miller claim. Its time to show more than catch up questions

Basically everyone else at least had some amount of positive town equity in their actions and no one had him on their strong town lists. And scum sat back and let us.

I target a player. their action, if they have one now goes to me. docs, roleblocks, kills, anything.

correct. I'm not claiming to have stopped a kill. Just claiming as requested so peaf doesn't shoot me.

I think at this point we need to round out the mass.

There's also the question of where is scum's roleblock? For doctor and jailkeeper to exist, along with Taunter, you would think scum would have one. There is no evidence of a roleblock on night 1, and only Chang blocking Foolmo on night 2. Does town having one but not scum even fit in the setup? For Chang to be roleblocker though would mean scum no killed just to sell that, which I dont know. I would need to do math to see if that makes sense

Easily Sbell. Wallz requires some risky play to fake, but let's not take him off the table. My claim would require all the absolute worst town players all congregated in this 1 mafia game in order to pull it off (remember my post 5.7 which adds another hard to fake claim).

But let's complete the mass claim and see.
