Just wrapped up watching this. Biden got destroyed. Dems need to run someone else that can explain policy. There is still time.

Got a native buddy planning to move to Kumamoto if Trump wins. His company has an office there. Your company should take care of most of the hard work for you. If you have any questions on anything there are a few of us on here that relocated and can help.

That's good to know. I definitely am nervous about the idea but there will practically be hits on my head as an overly targeted minority here. If my company can assist in the move, that'll be great. My supervisor years ago told me that if I wanted to move to the Japan office, she'd support that. All I know at this point is I need to get in touch with the consulate general here and my HR as well.

Loved my time in Japan when I vacationed there. It's just mentally nice thinking about how less aggressive of a country it would actually be to live in. Sure, there would be those who would look at me like 'foreigner' and all, but would beat living under a christo-fascist dictatorship that would 100% happen if Trump wins.

Pretty much the only person who can reasonably replace Biden at this point is Newsom. I don't see them replacing him though.

You replace Biden that's literally giving the presidency to Trump. There's no time. You can replace Biden with Jesus Christ himself and he still wouldn't win.

I would absolutely love to move to someplace like Japan, but since I'm work at home I'm not sure my company would support that, even if we have offices there.

To sum things up, Biden fumbled during the first half of the debate but ended up doing much better in the second half. When he made mistakes, people freaked out about it while rightfully complaining about the moderation either cutting him off or coddling Trump. Of course, it wasn't perfect for Trump either as his lies ended up alienating a lot of undecided voters in many focus groups.

Fuck, it sounds like the fears I had when it was revealed CNN was doing this were validated, I'm really surprised the Biden campaign would trust CNN to be fair when it's owned by right wingers who stand to benefit from a Trump victory.

There's gonna be another one? I'm surprised Trump isn't taking his ball and going home after this considering how disgustingly well it worked out for him. Then again is the ABC one going to have the same rules or are they gonna pack the house?

Keep in mind people it's over 130 days until the election, if Biden does a better job in the next debate no one will give a shit about this one. Things move so fast now that news even one month old is considered irrelevant in many cases.

This would be a bigger issue if the election was in less than a month.

So I missed the debate, but from what I gather Trump did better than expected thanks in part to really, really low standards meanwhile Biden did worse because people expected him to not be an 80+ old year man. Thats kinda stupid.

Im just glad Biden is polling well after the fact.

Trump turned a full 180 degrees away from the target, and folded space time to shoot into a whole ass other dimension where the concept of a target doesn't even exist. And then turned around and demanded applause for landing a bullesye despite being infinitely off the mark.

The flaw in this logic is that those dumbass undecided voters don't care because Trump is allowed to lie.

Because a casual viewer won't immediately know that most of what trump said was untrue, especially when it went unchallenged by the moderators or biden most of the time.
