was this free to watch btw I feel bad for missing it now even though I don't give a shit about boxing and the most I've seen of Mike Tyson was the Hangover.

I think Tyson did this to prove if he wasn't old Jake wouldn't stand a chance which I think he did prove it in the first 2 rounds. Problem is he couldn't keep it up or Jake would have probably been K.O.

However...Jake can now officially say he beat Mike Tyson making people mad which will cause them to see the next event hoping someone wipes the smugness of his face

Paul will fight Canelo when he's 50, overweight, and him somehow losing his eyesight

This was absolutely a publicity fight. Both men achieved what they wanted. They both drew a huge crowd. They both made bank. Under card was good.

look, for 57/58 mike looked phenomenal.

but for an actual fight? Youre not beating Father Time.

I would argue he didn't even have energy in the first round. Yes, he probably still would have lost the fight, but that knee being wrapped up didn't help him.

Mike looked good in the 1st rd, but Jake hurt him in the 2nd and I think that's why he stopped trying.

Boxing is about bringing a crowd and making money. The fight going to knock out would have cost them. Going the full rounds get the best money.

Agreed. For me that was the highlight of the night. They actually went all out from round 1. I think the worst fight was the first fight, though I missed the second fight as I had to go buy lottery tickets. Parents got it in their head that just because my Aunt/Uncle won a 100k jackpot a few months ago that they are going to win this time around.

I think it was staged with the fact Paul didn't knocked Tyson the f out. He had many chances. Tyson looked like a corpse out there. It was kind of sad.

To be fair Tyson, never really was known for his cardio into longer rounds. He was just such a killer that they couldn't find anyone to last the initial few rounds against him.
Hollyfield and Buster Douglas beat him by tiring him out to later rounds.

My thoughts are Mike was injured and getting over illness and they both didn't want to lose millions over cancellation so Jake went easy on him. Wouldn't look good if Jake absolutely destroyed him so they basically danced all fight.

Mayweather is a bit different. Once he sees the other guy is tired he goes for the KO. He also uses the rules to his advantage like turning around cause you can't punch someone from behind. He's a very smart technical boxer.

personally I say its rigged because Tyson could of simply straight up hit jake with an illegal hit for the win and ended it at round 1.

And yeah the first fight was even worse.

The second fight was probably the best one since we had an actual knockdown and a sick comeback and it ended in a draw.
