I pair Golem/Brock with 1 energy Dugtrio stalls, Marshadows and Sabrina. You either get the damage nullification or punish your opponent for 100 dmg should they KO your Dugtrio while you build up your Golem.

Its almost disturbingly effective for a NoEX deck at this point in time, though there are still coin flips involved. I know some people dislike that. But I prefer Dugtrio to Primeape having tested both.

You can of course use Aerodactyl EX as well, but Marshadow won't see much use in it, so plan to bring something else along accordingly.

Blaine deck is too stronk. Less than 50% thanks rate. Played 7 today, got my 5 wins, only 3 thanks.

On that note I made a classic Rapidash mistake. Using Island Rapidash, I had it on one energy and gave another energy to my Vulpix in the back, forgetting Island Rapidash needed two energy. Used a Blaine before I realized my mistake. Funny enough two matches later, in a mirror match, my opponent made the exact same mistake, even with the Blaine.

For battles I only give 5 thanks a day, after that I fast click win or lose. I usually have my 5 tickets before I ever battle though because of gallery likes.

Golem has been taking names & surprisingly holds itself against EXs. Other times people just concede when you check them. I stuck a single Pokeflute just for Hitmonlee meme chases.

I like Golem but feel like the Aerodactyl ex is better/more consistent. I've stopped playing both though and gravitated back to Gary, it's just so damn good.

I never lost to an Aerodactyl. I do all my evolving on the bench so his poke power does nothing to me. It would be way more powerful if it was field wide

I've only seen a single Aero & they ended up conceding 'cause I fully evolved in the bench. Ye, its power got nerfed. It's a get it on turn 2 or try to somehow get it to work.

Its less about Aeros ability, and more about the consistent two-energy 80 damage making him a more reliable Marowak. Also, since he only evolves from Amber, you can run less basics and get more consistent opening hands (for example, getting a much higher chance of getting promo Mankey as your lead)

It doesnt win long games, it supports a more aggro playstyle with stuff like Primeape to try and overwhelm an opponent early.

Oh yeah, had a good run today. Pulled a second Gyarados EX from Wonder Pick, got 68/68 Island set for the special player icon, and pulled immersion art Celebi which also gave me the hidden mission Celebi profile badge.

They should give it to us for giving the thanks instead of the people we give thanks too

I never give thanks to Celebi decks unless I beat their asses

the celebi deck is the bigger evil now.

I barely lose to Celebi with my Starmie/Blastoise deck now. But it's pure luck. I've been pulling full evo lines for either pokemon in the first hand like 75% of the matches I play. Then I just out pace their set up. Feels good.

Just run an Alakazam deck. I win like 75% of the time against them with it. It uses their energy cards against them. I wouldnt say it's a counter but it's definitely a strong check

I went like 1-7 with Melmetal deck today. And the one win was because they conceded on the first turn smh. Not a good event for off meta fun decks. Today was particularly heavy with the M2 and Celebi decks.

I love Melmetal but Golem just plays like a better version of it for now. Hopefully Steel gets some more supporting cards soon.

I had to start cracking open Zard packs to get my metal requirement for premium in, they really do need to give metal some love.

I probably shot my self in the foot for trading in the future, but I traded in a bunch of my extra full arts for some of the swaggy special shop stuff - I love the sleeves, and the display board is unique since it lets you show 7 cards at once. Poliwrath is my favorite mon, but that slot will be where my crown rare will go (if I had one!)

On the Flair menu for cards with one-star or higher rarity, theres an option to trade in a card for Special Shop points instead of a flair effect. One-stars only give 1 point, but some of the higher rarities give more. You need 3 or more of a card to trade one in, though

Oh I didnt know you could get anything besides flair.

Unfortunately most of my full arts I have two or less of.

I had 5 full art Alakazams, destroyed one for a special shop ticket. Depending on how trading is going to work will determine if I start destroying more or not.

Hitmonlee is really fun to use when your opponent has a druddigon out and doesn't have a leaf or enough energy out.

Congrats, looks fun. Sigilyph is a cool choice and pairs nice with slab to get your big guns out I bet.

1 energy, consistant 50 damage. It works very well, 50 is enough to threaten most walls.

1 energy is super useful, especially when Marshadow needs 2. With GA Primeape I sometimes find myself a turn short for powering up what I need.

Also I posted the new general topic up since this ones almost done and I might be out late today and unable to post the new one.
