So, for the team trials and daily races, is it better to do higher difficulty races where you're outmatched? Or go for more guaranteed wins in lower difficulty races?

It's so hard to judge, because you get consolation rewards even if you lose. And there's such randomness that I win matches I shouldn't and lose easy races I thought would be in the bag...

I personally (with about a 2/3rds win rate) think hard's the way to go for daily races, you get plenty as an entry bonus

not sure about team trials but those random chests seem extremely worth it, and they seem to appear more often when you're outmatched

MLB mihono bourbon is really good.

And yeah Tazuna was very good for my Rice Shower runs.

But lately most fun I'm having is with Agnes Tachyon run, don't use Tazuna and she gets a ton a of mood downs, but spamming debuff skills when your speed is over 1k is great.

My highest leveled card is Happy Meek's trainer which seems like it's good for this current Career and will probably be not great in anything else unless she keeps appearing in future events.

she's surprisingly good for ura finale, actually! singlehandedly solves any mood/status effect issues you might have while refunding a bunch of energy. makes runs really stable

Haven't seen what events she has, but wasn't sure if it's worth cutting out a speed card for extra potential rainbow training bonus, or if a wit card would be better. Also, I feel like, barring really bad RNG at this point, I get enough mood up/energy up events from my current supports as it is in addition to the guaranteed mood ups from the scenario events.

Also, not sure how much it matters, and I don't want to spend the support points now that I'm poor from leveling so many cards, but I also apparently have enough copies of Kiryuin to fully uncap her for slightly better stats than Tazuna at Lvl 45 vs. Lvl 30.

It's tougher early on, especially if you don't have good friend parents to borrow for career, or good support cards to borrow for that matter, but it shouldn't take too long where you have umas built specifically for Mile distance and Medium or longer distance that win most/all the time in the daily races.

I've used a Bakushin with Max SPD (1200), 450+ STA, 800+ POW, 300+ GUT (not that important), and 350+ WIT, and haven't lost a Mile daily race yet even with Awful Mood (24-30 straight wins).

For Medium, I've recently been using a TM Opera as a Frontrunner (only C rating) with 1000+ SPD, 900+ STA (probably a couple hundred more than necessary if I had to guess), 650+ POW, 350+ GUT, 400+ WIT. She's won 12/12 times and has had awful mood/ bad mood several times already.

I also could be wrong, but it feels like running your umamusume as a Frontrunner dramatically reduces the bad rng of getting boxed in from what I've seen so far. And the only penalty I know of for having a bad style rating is your horse getting rushed more often.

So if you have extra stamina, that's not a concern anyway, so might as well run them in the front as far as I can tell. Probably not a good idea for team trials though as I think you get score bonuses or something for having different styles, and you lose points for getting rushed iirc.

And other than the beginning when I didn't know what I was doing, I've just been picking the highest difficulty score opponent for team trials. I didn't notice a big difference in terms of wins/losses and was scoring higher. Don't actually know what's optimal though.

Yeah, anyone that comes away with 3+ copies of Kitasan before the banner ends should be set up really nicely going forward from what I can tell.

You need 4 for the bonkers bonus to kick in. Specialty Priority is one of the most important stats for a support card to have, so you can get the other bonuses more often.

You can still borrow a MLB Kitasan for now though, but it sounds like there will be ways to get guaranteed copies/unlocks down the road, so only needing 2 more will make having your own MLB Kita that much easier.

I got the hot springs ending with King Halo. Im actually a little surprised I was not only able to finish the goals but win the URA Final as well.

I didnt have a lot of skills on her and several races were barely won. I guess the raw stats (and Swinging Maestro) carried hard. She didnt even proc her ult much.

But hey, I was worried of not even getting the hot springs scene so Ill take the wins when they happen!

Ive yet to even win the hot springs raffle, though most days I only play one career so my numbers are still fairly low

I won the hot springs tickets my very first time making it to the raffle and promptly lost my run pretty quick after. I have yet to get it again since, and I've been doing 4-6 runs per day.

I won a hot spring ticket early, lost that run. Since then I got two on Maruzensky before any other horse, and recently on a very cursed Bakushin run (that still won thanks to MLB Kitasan from a friend)

The lottery odds supposedly look like this, taken from that mega reference doc:

1. Tissues - Mood Down (~10% Chance)
2. Single Carrot - +20 Energy (~50% Chance)
3. Bundle of Carrots - +20 Energy, Mood Up, +5 All Stats (~30% Chance)
4. Carrot Curry - +30 Energy, Mood Up, +10 All Stats (~10% Chance)
5. Onsen Ticket - +30 Energy, Mood Up, +10 All Stats, extra bathing scene after winning URA Finals (~3% Chance)

Obviously that doesn't add up to 100 so they're fuzzy estimates, but it gives you an idea of how often to expect the hot spring ticket.

i'm on a bizarre run of 8 tissues, 1 basic carrot, 2 hot springs, and a curry.

I had no idea curry or the ticket existed, and I've done at least 40 runs so far.

I kept on getting two carrots and I thought that was the default.

I did the crane game for the first time now, though.

Oh, I didn't realize the event had its own Dailies you need to check for. Whoops.

For a long time, I thought the raffle was just based on which horse you have as part of their lore lol, like Nice Nature getting the third place prize every time

Hmm, I'm 40 points from getting the guaranteed 3rd Kitasan, and I'm trying to decide if I want to *shudder* spend money to go for it. I normally wouldn't do it for a gacha, but to already have two it would suck to get so close to the guarantee and not get it.

The event ends August 1st, so I need to do math to see how much free Carats you can get in 11 days. And... I don't know. You only get 30 from the Dailies, but there's all sorts of various ones to get from the special missions and launch logins. It's so overwhelming.

So the main question is if I want to do the Daily Carat Pack now and do the 50c pulls for 11 days. That's an extra 10 points and 550c left over. It seems like that might not be enough without paying even more, and if I can't get enough then I'd rather spend nothing at all. So it's all banking on that combining with all the Story Carats I haven't gotten yet and whatever random free giveaways they pass out being enough. I do NOT want to go through all that and find out I'm short 10 points or something.

there should be more 1500 carat gifts if we're following JP launch rewards (and we appear to be) so absolutely put it off imo. maybe get the monthly pack and do the discounted daily pulls

so Whats the upsides of those two club point stamina SSR cards? Is one better? McQueen I think? I have both with one uncap and just got 900 points to take one to 2

McQueen is very good at 3 uncaps, and you dont really need the last one (until you have an excess I suppose)

I've read a bit on things but am but interested in Min/Max or Meta strategies quite yet. Just enjoying the ride and trying different Trainees. It's neat how there doesn't seem to be any time gates on this game (yet as I'm still choosing to read a lot of the VN parts I haven't seen before).

Is it best to wait to accrue 1500 carats before pulling for trainees/supports or are the percentages good enough that you can get decent results from doing it individually?

The guaranteed SRs you get from multis are relatively important (for now at least) as some fully uncapped SRs are huge boosts to your support deck.

For trainees you probably could do singles if you want but I'd still probably just save for a multi or two, though the support pulls are more important. Especially the kitasan black support banner right now

Switched to KSB+Sweep Tosho+as many Wit cards as possible.
Results have shocked me tbh.

Been breaking a lot of my records going the Wit path.

I cannot buy a triple crown with tokai, she always chokes the Japan Derby for me. Oh well, new top score run and a 3 stam spark.

When you look at a banner under Scout, if you click Details at the top of the screen you can see exactly what the rates are

If you do a 10 pull, the first 9 pulls are:

3% SSR
18% SR
79% R

Then the 10th pull is:

3% SSR
97% SR

Whenever you individually pull, it always uses the 1-9 rates. So if you pull 10 times individually, you don't get the guaranteed SR. SSR rates are the same

So generally, yeah you might as well just always wait for 10 pulls to get that guaranteed SR. If you wanna do a single pull here or there it's not a big deal, but I wouldn't make a habit of it.

so a ten pull is 2.59 SR's on average, whereas ten singles is 1.8

that's gonna make a big difference in the long run

So random question I couldn't find anything about; if you inherit a unique skill, are the PvP points from it treated as other unique skills? Or just like a normal skill? I'm assuming it'd be the latter for balance purposes, but it'd be nice to know for sure.

I know they're weaker than the unique version, and they don't have the special color, so it would make sense.

Man, having one of the Daily Missions be a Career playthrough is a bit too much imo. Even if I skip through all the scenes and races those things are too long to do in my spare time every day.

In theory you could just fail them quickly, but that seems really unfun, and I'm not sure if there's a really efficient way to do that...

Easiest would probably be to find one where their first goal after Debut Race requires fans and just never do races to get them. Not Haru Urara though since hers is 25 turns. Also you would still want to win the Debut Race since winning a Career Race is a daily
