Our 1 loss was pretty bad and our 2 wins haven't been incredible performances either. When I heard we picked up Kurt Warner's son as our QB this year I guess I was hoping for a stronger performance in terms of actually throwing the ball.

But I guess it's early days and we don't exactly have a crazy difficult schedule so we'll see what happens.

It feels really weird to be playing them so early. We usually don't play them until October or November, and our SEC opener was Florida for forever. I guess this is part of the new SEC scheduling quirks we'll have to get used to with 16 teams now.

ASU are you really going to blow this

ASU had 1st and goal at the MSU 1 with 2 minutes left in a tied game, got held to a field goal, then immediately had a coverage bust and gave up a TD with 30 seconds left.

I know it's Akron but seeing Nebraska get a blow out with 700 yards of offense was nice to see.

ASU was Skattebo. He was a safety valve for that team. This ASU team also struggled against NAU last week for a bit before they opened it up later in the game. They seem like a good case of a team highly rated at the beginning of the season to be completely unranked by the end.

Good win, could have won by more but a good momentum win for the rest of the year.

If we can go 9-3 (or better) I think Mateer has a decent shot at the Heisman if no one runs away with it

With 11 SEC teams ranked we get to talk about how important it is to look at in conference schedule strength

All 8 of Oklahoma's opponents are ranked! Home against 3,17,24,25, road against 11,15,19, and neutral against 7

And because the SEC decided that each team should only play one of OU or Texas, you can immediately figure out that Texas only has 3 ranked SEC teams on its schedule (6,13,16)

I mean I would always point out that Tennessee used to be the only team that had to play Georgia, Florida, and Alabama every year because of the fixed rivalries. Doesn't seem quite so bad now...!

On a related note, Georgia opened as a 7 point favorite and it's down to 3.5 now. Not sure how I feel about that! Our top two corners are already confirmed out, too.

Except he got less money from UCLA than Tennessee was giving him

So yeah, just a bad decision on every level

K-State and Arizona just had a 6 minute long review on an open and shut play and no one could understand why it wasn't over in less than 30 seconds.

It's the kind of thing that's fodder for people who don't want replay.

Miami got away with one there that could change the game really early on. That looked like pass interference to me and didn't get called. So USF has to punt instead of getting it in like the red zone on 1st.
