Up until that point, I believed a decent amount (maybe not most, but some) of them could still change their ways and and see the light. Like yesterday she was complaining about all the people being hateful towards Charlie Kirk and asking how people can be so heartless. I told her that it was due to years of ill will from the all the biggoted things he said. Then "corrected" me telling me I was wrong and that he's never said anything like that. She literally had not even heard of him until after he was dead. She said actions have consequences, and that people are learning the hard way. I said Charlie Kirk faced the consequences of his actions. She said he was just sharing his opinion which he was allowed to do. I told her that his opinion supported people getting gunned down and letting kids watch public executions, so it seems fair that he died the way he did. I respect that, just I do wonder why the politics tag isn't used so that we can legit have it both ways.
