Its fun to play(like most sports) but to watch...iunno man, i think even golf is more entertaining lol

It's up there. I do think golf is more boring to watch though.

yea, I've got to go with golf, from what I've seen.

Golf, if it's considered a sport (and I don't consider a game that can be played as a fat, out-of-shape dumpy dude a sport!)

Pro golf may be fun to watch if it had a bunch of obstacles like put-put.

For me its soccer then Nascar. I can watch golf or pool, poker if im at a bar and its on in the background.

Maybe because Im American but for me its soccer. The amount of matches I see where you go lengthy periods of time where no one even has a decent scoring chance is too high and the amount of draws after sitting through a couple hours of that is extremely unsatisfying but at least for the stuff I watch which is only the World Cup and the Euros they wont end in draws when it matters in the knockout round.

But most major North American sports I love. All the major pro and college level sports like football, basketball, hockey, baseball, golf, and tennis are all enjoyable to me. But soccer sucks.

NASCAR, followed by Golf.

For me they all are. I used to say US Football was the worst, but tbf that was because it was the one I understood the least. Of the big 5 "team" sports, I'd probably say Soccer now.

Any of those car driving sports. Where you're driving around a circle a ridiculous amount of laps. That tends to top my list of least favorite.

Soccer is another least favorite, but I seemed to enjoy watching a little of the US women's teams in the past for some reason. It seemed like women's soccer had more offense in general than the men's.

Post-season baseball is a bit more exciting bc there are some stakes to it but the regular season is a complete slog.

That said it's always fun to watch someone hit a homerun so there are probably sports where nothing interesting ever happens like golf or racing or something.

Of the major sports, definitely. Including EVERYTHING you're going to get some goofy shit like competitive tag and pickleball. Golf is obviously boring as fuck too.

Soccer, any car racing, golf, all much more boring.

NASCAR. 3 hrs of bunched up cars trading spots back & forth.

Nascar. It's a sport where most excitement comes from people failing, i.e. crashing.
Golf and baseball can be up there, but golf can be decent. There's almost always someone doing something, cause there's multiple groups going at once.
Baseball has so many games, and similar to basketball, it all seems to only matter at the end.
So maybe Nascar, then basketball and then baseball for my top 3 boring sports.
I love me some rally car, super cross, etc, yet Nascar manages to make it boring.
Wrestling is boring when it's story/filler.

Postseason baseball is something special but regular season is a snooze fest. Definitely the most boring of the big five by a large margin.

It's also the most boring to play and most boring to spectate in person.

Beyond the big five there are many more boring sports to watch. Most sports actually.

Ill throw MMA and boxing in there, two sports I used to like before I realized its closer to dancing than an actual fight.

Soccer. Oversized net and they STILL couldn't find it with two hands, a flashlight, a map and a damn seeing-eye dog.

Keepers notwithstanding. You're not allowed to use any of those things on the soccer pitch.

Yes. By a lot. Going to games is fun, but that's just drinking at a stadium instead of a bar.

NASCAR used to be fun, until they decided to do the Chase and stage racing.

Baseball is the equivalent of playing a turn based RPG. And I know there's mixed feelings about those types of games as well

I don't find baseball or golf boring to watch because I can appreciate how much strategy goes into the game. They're also really fun to play video game versions of. Then again, I'm also the type of gamer who loves turn-based RPG/strategy games, so the lack of constant action doesn't bother me.

For me, the most boring sport is soccer. Barely any action, barely any offense, I can't see the strategy involved, and worst of all: games can end in ties and do so often. Nothing is more deflating as a sports fan that watching a game for hours only to see it end in a tie. I instantly started liking hockey a lot more when they added a shootout and did away with ties, and in the NFL ties are so rare that they're basically a novelty. But soccer games constantly end in ties and it pisses me off to no end.

It takes patience to watch but I don't think its boring.

I hate how in the NFL shit constantly stops because of flags and whatever other bullshit.

Competitive tag is fun to watch imo

For me it's gotta be cricket. I finally bothered learning how it works from a cricket Let's Play, and I thought they were joking for a bit. "Ooh, once you hit the weird ball with the weird spanker, you gotta make sure the guy runs in the ZigZagZone for as long as he can!"

for me its American football. I admit its probably because I don't understand the rules. Its the only sport where I can't just look at the TV and know what's happening. I've never quite grasped football. I know ultimately the point is to reach the other end of the field but all the intricate shit in between that makes no sense to me. So I'm bored when I look at it cause I can't follow along

Basketball, soccer, baseball and hockey are all simpler.

Of the big 4 for the US? Probably. Overall i echo the votes for golf, though there are plenty of sports i havent seen in fairness.

soccer is pretty bad too. it's like a worse version of hockey. indoor soccer was pretty cool though. the smaller field made it way more interesting.

Made me remember about the 24 Hours of Le Mans board game, in which there is a tournament using specific rules to turn it into a 24 hour game with no breaks.
