Here Comes the Sun, probably. That's not Lennon's song. It's Harrison's.
I despise John Lennon, though.
It was people I know, yes, which is why I never said it was me making that much. Not sure why youre changing the narrative. No, it doesn't work like that. I may have made $53 today. But can just make about $20 or way less tomorrow. The higher paid ones go for around $17, but you're required to drive 30-40+ miles, which will just eat up your gas.
Thats awesome dude, now think about if you did that for 12 hours a week youd be well into the $2k range.
A few stories but none are very interesting, worst situation was a woman come out yelling at me asking why her order was so expensive. I don't set the prices lady, take your ass to the store next timeThankfully, I haven't gone through stupid customers yet. But that will likely change the longer I do this. Yeesh.
Hopefully TC can keep their acceptance rate high after the first two weeks. From what I've read (and this is based on reddit posts), the first few weeks as a driver you essentially get "top dasher" status, giving you priority on the better payouts, but if you can't maintain 70%(?) acceptance rate, you lose that status and start to only see the lower paying deliveries.
Which is kind of shitty, because if you are only seeing jobs that cost you money to take on (gas money), then you are stuck in that lower AR%
And I called it. Id love for you to point out where I said I made that much.So now you've moved on to the narrative, it wasn't you that was making it, but what you "thought/think" people were making, which all points back to the direction of you were just bullshitting/full of shit. Marvelous. Thank you, good bye.
I dont know why youre getting so upset. And I cant wait for you to say this proof isnt proof. That proves absolutely nothing. It only shows that you "may" have done Doordash, and nothing to back up your claims of making 2k for 3 days of work per week. This submission will be rejected in any outlet that would ask you for proof.

like I said, its been a couple years
Lol, youre funny. I cant remember last week and you want me to remember some buttons from a couple years ago? Ill find some proof for you if you really want.Uh-huh, sure. Post some proof after you scour through the web.
I think youre confusing stuff. People working full time making $600 is wild. Think 40 hours a week, 160 total, divide that by 600 and theyre making $3.75 an hour? So theyre taking 1 delivery per hour? Thats their problem.
Real close to a very big city. The people you know doing it full time, for that amount, I feel really bad for or youre in a very small town. Some questions: What are two options you can choose before pressing the red button at the bottom, and what does the button say on your DD app? And also, what's the company that will call you back whenever you're feeling unsafe?
and yes, 12 times a month, 3 hours a night, at the busiest time, in a busy city, you can very easily make that.
Did you add coverage to your car insurance or are you risking it? Or do these companies cover you?No, the companies do not cover you.
that seems crazy, i dont see how you could even cover gas/maintenance with that little
if youre in a busy area, or have a busy area near you then its very easy. You could do that Thursday-Saturday and probably easily get $1k-$2k. you just gotta be careful, if you do it a whole lot youll wind up paying a good little chunk for taxes.idk where you live, but with I'm going through atm, I call COMPLETE UTTER BULLSHIT on that. People who do it full time, 7 days a week, everyday only make around 600-700 a month, even at their best, 900. And you're saying you can make 2 grand only doing it 3 times a week, lmfao. You just gave yourself away.
youd have it do it a few times a week though, 1 day a week youre probably looking at a couple hundred a month, but again thats if youre in a busy area and make short trips.
The restaurant was 32 miles from the delivery address or 32 miles was involved in the whole trip from where you started? Either way that's a shitty tip but if it's the former, that's extra shitty knowing the distance that's involved. The latter. No way in hell I'm driving 64 miles for fucking bagels and a latte. And if that was the case, I'd probably be in jail atm, lol.
damn, yeah itd probably be from 1-3 times a week.In that case, around $40-90-ish.
how realistic do you think it would be to make an extra 500-700$ a month occasionally doing it around 7-10pm?What's occasionally to you? 1 or 2 times a week? Not a chance. 5-6 times a week, again, it depends. May be as low as $300 or high as 600+.
How much money are you making hour roughly? Ill probably try making some extra cash doing it at some point. It really depends. Sometimes there wouldn't be an order coming in, so it's a 0. Sometimes only 1 low one, which can net you $4-5. Then there are times everything be bumping, and you make about $35+ an hour.
No idea - I'll try to grab a screen shot when I use it againAppreciate it.
I don't use Uber Eats, I just use DD. I see it each time I use it.Maybe it's because I'm still at the beginner level, but I don't see it anywhere before I accept the order, only after it has been delivered.
On DD: I thought the tip you could see ahead of time and works as a bidding system?Nope. All you get is the total pay for the order. You find out your tip once you deliver it. Heh.
