The big mac dude has shown you can eat that junk every single day for years, and still be healthy, as long as you exercised, and limited your calories. Anyways, RIP. I enjoyed the documentary growing up, along with the Moore docs.
"Make pain your best friend, and you'll never be alone."
9.5/10

Best show of the year hands down. Nothing will beat it.
"Make pain your best friend, and you'll never be alone."
Yesterday made $55+ with 4 hours of driving. Today around $40 with about 1 hour driving. Saved up around $350 in a week. Subtract $80 on gas. $270 profit. As a side gig for play money, this is pretty good.

Where is this Aldi? Because the one I frequent has slow ass cashiers, with lines all the way up the chips aisle.

When Imperial Japan thought of taking over the World, don't think any of them would have imagine it was going to be with throwing balls at little animals to capture them, or loli cat girls.

Who's idea was it to make him nearly a dwarf though? Like 5 feet 2 or 3? He's shorter than Vegeta, and only an inch taller than Krillin, lol.

Hot take: Blue Jay Way was Harrison's best song in the Beatles. After that, Savoy Truffle.

Nope. Top 3 for me would be: Sgt Pepper, Thriller, and Pet Sounds.

Here Comes the Sun, probably.

I despise John Lennon, though.
That's not Lennon's song. It's Harrison's.

Favorite Beatles song is probably Oh Darling or Helter Skelter. Love Paul's voice in those songs.

It was people I know, yes, which is why I never said it was me making that much. Not sure why youre changing the narrative.

Thats awesome dude, now think about if you did that for 12 hours a week youd be well into the $2k range.
No, it doesn't work like that. I may have made $53 today. But can just make about $20 or way less tomorrow. The higher paid ones go for around $17, but you're required to drive 30-40+ miles, which will just eat up your gas.
"Make pain your best friend, and you'll never be alone."
Today was a great day. 1 hour and 2 minutes on the road/work for $53. Furthest I drove was 4 miles which was about 11 minutes.

A few stories but none are very interesting, worst situation was a woman come out yelling at me asking why her order was so expensive. I don't set the prices lady, take your ass to the store next time
Thankfully, I haven't gone through stupid customers yet. But that will likely change the longer I do this. Yeesh.

Hopefully TC can keep their acceptance rate high after the first two weeks. From what I've read (and this is based on reddit posts), the first few weeks as a driver you essentially get "top dasher" status, giving you priority on the better payouts, but if you can't maintain 70%(?) acceptance rate, you lose that status and start to only see the lower paying deliveries.

Which is kind of shitty, because if you are only seeing jobs that cost you money to take on (gas money), then you are stuck in that lower AR%

True for DD, although I'm already getting the bottom of the tier offers like $3 pay with 1 dollar tip. GH thankfully, isn't like that, as long as you sign up to a block for a certain time period, you'll always get top priority.

And I called it. Id love for you to point out where I said I made that much.
So now you've moved on to the narrative, it wasn't you that was making it, but what you "thought/think" people were making, which all points back to the direction of you were just bullshitting/full of shit. Marvelous. Thank you, good bye.

I dont know why youre getting so upset. And I cant wait for you to say this proof isnt proof.

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/c/cfa2342d.jpg

like I said, its been a couple years
That proves absolutely nothing. It only shows that you "may" have done Doordash, and nothing to back up your claims of making 2k for 3 days of work per week. This submission will be rejected in any outlet that would ask you for proof.

Anyways, did some more DD and GH today. Not a busy morning. And I think I'll reject any 9+ mile drives as that would mean getting on the highway, which also means, traffic jams and losing precious minutes/hours on the road. Did only 2 deliveries for GH, and made $25 for about 40 minutes of total work. Not bad I guess, if only I didn't have to pay for gas. Eh.

Lol, youre funny. I cant remember last week and you want me to remember some buttons from a couple years ago? Ill find some proof for you if you really want.

I think youre confusing stuff. People working full time making $600 is wild. Think 40 hours a week, 160 total, divide that by 600 and theyre making $3.75 an hour? So theyre taking 1 delivery per hour? Thats their problem.
Uh-huh, sure. Post some proof after you scour through the web.

Real close to a very big city. The people you know doing it full time, for that amount, I feel really bad for or youre in a very small town.

and yes, 12 times a month, 3 hours a night, at the busiest time, in a busy city, you can very easily make that.
Some questions: What are two options you can choose before pressing the red button at the bottom, and what does the button say on your DD app? And also, what's the company that will call you back whenever you're feeling unsafe?

Did you add coverage to your car insurance or are you risking it? Or do these companies cover you?
No, the companies do not cover you.

solosnake posted...
that seems crazy, i dont see how you could even cover gas/maintenance with that little

Gas can be covered. Plus the companies offer some little quirks here and there. As for maintenance from this, I do not plan on doing it for long. Other drivers, use several other apps along with DoorDash. Ubereats, Uber, Grubhub, Instacart, etc... And in busy areas, they seem to be doing ok.

if youre in a busy area, or have a busy area near you then its very easy. You could do that Thursday-Saturday and probably easily get $1k-$2k. you just gotta be careful, if you do it a whole lot youll wind up paying a good little chunk for taxes.

youd have it do it a few times a week though, 1 day a week youre probably looking at a couple hundred a month, but again thats if youre in a busy area and make short trips.
idk where you live, but with I'm going through atm, I call COMPLETE UTTER BULLSHIT on that. People who do it full time, 7 days a week, everyday only make around 600-700 a month, even at their best, 900. And you're saying you can make 2 grand only doing it 3 times a week, lmfao. You just gave yourself away.

The restaurant was 32 miles from the delivery address or 32 miles was involved in the whole trip from where you started? Either way that's a shitty tip but if it's the former, that's extra shitty knowing the distance that's involved.
The latter. No way in hell I'm driving 64 miles for fucking bagels and a latte. And if that was the case, I'd probably be in jail atm, lol.
"Make pain your best friend, and you'll never be alone."

damn, yeah itd probably be from 1-3 times a week.
In that case, around $40-90-ish.
"Make pain your best friend, and you'll never be alone."
solosnake posted...
how realistic do you think it would be to make an extra 500-700$ a month occasionally doing it around 7-10pm?
What's occasionally to you? 1 or 2 times a week? Not a chance. 5-6 times a week, again, it depends. May be as low as $300 or high as 600+.
"Make pain your best friend, and you'll never be alone."
solosnake posted...
How much money are you making hour roughly? Ill probably try making some extra cash doing it at some point.
It really depends. Sometimes there wouldn't be an order coming in, so it's a 0. Sometimes only 1 low one, which can net you $4-5. Then there are times everything be bumping, and you make about $35+ an hour.
"Make pain your best friend, and you'll never be alone."

I don't use Uber Eats, I just use DD. I see it each time I use it.
Maybe it's because I'm still at the beginner level, but I don't see it anywhere before I accept the order, only after it has been delivered.
"Make pain your best friend, and you'll never be alone."

On DD: I thought the tip you could see ahead of time and works as a bidding system?
Nope. All you get is the total pay for the order. You find out your tip once you deliver it. Heh.
"Make pain your best friend, and you'll never be alone."
Quick note: I know each area/region is different. What I say may be the opposite/vice versa between the 2 services.

Grubhub have more longer drives, but better pay/tip, and all of the customers were at home folks. Lots in the farming/country side.

Door Dash is more active, but with severely less pay/tip. One trip I did was around 32 miles, for, get this: 50 cent tip. Fuck you. Yeah you, Miss shower cap. But anyways, most of the folks were business/at work customers. The app is way better than GH's.

Thank God I'm just doing this out of boredom. But my heart goes out to the folks that make a living off of it.

Do you have your own Driver/Delivery stories?
