He was a regular in my atlus topicsand tales, and lots of jrpgs. and every post was of the same nature. still, we've lost so many on this website and I'm never pleased to hear about another with such legacy. RIP neon, taken far too young
Imo Its soulslike but its not a soulslike. Influenced by it but not trying to be one.I really shoulda clarified. This is not a souls-like, but it is for those who like souls
how is it for the souls crowd?parry's, dodges, obsession with difficulty, decaying world setting, cryptic ass plot, ridiculously attractive middle aged women
people calling it a Souls-likenot calling it a souls-like, just saying it's like 100000x more likely to land with them than something like persona 5 or fire emblem
Either pick up World or Rise (whichever you can get for cheaper) to try it out it for less monetary commitment or just jump into the current game, Wilds,It's on my local marketplace for $40, just didn't know if it was super beginner-accessible
Game was okay, ending seemed kinda out of nowhere though. Actually a lot of the way some of the information is brought up is out of nowhere. Cole was just ...suddenly cheating on his wife? Idk man weird pacing but cool gameYoull know youve reached the end when you begin playing as Jack Kelso instead of Cole Phelps, not to mention getting turned loose on corrupt Army personnel smuggling drugs into L.A. with a flamethrower.
Sorry I wasnt much help, but I didnt want to spoil things without giving you a choice in the matter.I'm gonna beat in the next 3 days and then I'll read the tags
~80%thank you
3D Blast wasnt made by Sega thats why.okay that would explain it, also probably the fact that it was on Saturn
Man, bait these days aren't even tasty lookingaccount definitely made in 2008
nd on the type of game, and type of missable though. If it's just something like "don't die and you'll get this" I'm more likely to try on my first attempt. But if it's something more complex, especially in an RPG or other more complex game, I won't worry as much, especially if it requires a level of understanding of game mechanics that is better left for after having already played through once. Most of my grievances with the mechanic are when you need to do something super specific in a short piece of the game to unlock a much larger part of the game IE tales of vesperia, but also like Persona 4, SMT IV, that have like 7+ hours of content based on missables
Why are you being so vague here? It's been 15 years but it's still good to be courteous about spoilers
What bonus dungeon was this, and how was it unlocked that can be missed? You gotta visit a certain someone after a dungeon becomes available but before you complete it, and what's tricky is how much the game makes you absolutely wanna know what's gonna happen next so you don't even bother to look around
My memory is terrible sorry to have to ask.
