If I were in charge I'd change the challenge system. You'd still have the two and get a third if you win both, but I'd say if you win the third, you just keep getting one more challenge until you lose one. If the refs keep getting the calls wrong, I don't see why you shut down the team that's calling them out on it correctly just for trying to fix their mistakes.

Exactly. The NFL system is ridiculous in structure.

IMO, you should have infinite correct challenges, and incorrect challenges should cost you a timeout, and you should have as many of those as timeouts.

Like, I don't care if you get three challenges wrong per half, as long as every one of them cost you a timeout.

So, I assume you'd be in favor of eliminating the "the ref has only 60 seconds to decide" rule, then? After all, giving him more time to look increases the odds he'll make the correct call, right?

If he honestly thinks that going back over the same footage for longer will increase his odds of coming to a conclusive decision, then sure.

I would in fact be very curious to know how often a ref felt that he wanted to keep reviewing but felt the time crunch and had to stop.

Replay allows them to get MORE calls right than they otherwise would have.

I'll agree entirely that the manner in which NFL replays (and MLB replays) are handled is dumb. There's no need for the head official to have to go get under a hood. Just have some booth official buzz down with the ruling. The process can totally be streamlined.

But to me, getting even a net gain of one call correct that would otherwise be called incorrectly with no replay means that the concept is a positive.

See, I feel like LoZ is just as big of a step up from Adventure as ALttP is a step up from LoZ, as far as taking the concept and expanding on it. The overworld/dungeons concept, the non-linear gameplay, the Zelda mythology created from scratch, all that to me is a lot more creative than the later Zeldas.

And then there's Zelda II, which for all its faults is still a huge creative departure from the original.

I can easily imagine Big Show hitting the WMD on Henry, and then Bryan carting wheelchair-bound AJ out to make Show so sad he forgets about covering Henry, and then Bryan picks up the scraps.

WWE.com asks a lot of questions about who to blame for this accident, but even they don't make the leap to "maybe DB planned this."

According to WWE physician Dr. Michael Sampson, "AJ is pretty beat up, as you can imagine. She has head trauma, a cervical sprain/strain and also multiple contusions all over her body."

Still, no matter when the numerous physical injuries subside, is it possible that the emotional scars could run much deeper? An impact like the one AJ experienced would be a traumatic situation for anyone. With that in mind, could the sheer memory of it keep the spunky beauty out of action indefinitely? If she does return, will she be the same positive force inside the ring that she was before she was run over by the 441 pound behemoth?

Even as the healing process for AJ is just beginning, questions are already flying as to just who was to blame for such a horrendous occurrence. Big Show – noticeably shaken from his involvement with the injury – clearly feels responsible. There is no telling the effects this will have on the gentle side of this fierce giant. However, Daniel Bryan might also share some of the blame, since he brought the action into AJ’s path by running in her direction in the first place.

In that same vein, could AJ herself be somewhat responsible for her fate? Despite being an unfortunate victim, she did choose to be at ringside during a brutal No Disqualification, No Count-out Match – a contest that, by definition, guarantees that the danger will move outside the ring. Is SmackDown GM Theodore Long at fault for allowing AJ to be at ringside? She isn’t Daniel Bryan’s manager. She’s his girlfriend. Significant others, nor any others, are allowed at ringside without WWE’s approval.

There is also the question of what effect this will have on Daniel Bryan. Could it humble him enough to shake off the sizeable ego he has displayed since winning the World Heavyweight Title? Or will he simply adapt a new fury, channeling his resentment against Big Show?

If the tense moments after the AJ incident were any indication, Bryan will certainly place the blame squarely on Big Show’s gigantic shoulders. He has already established – in recent weeks – that he is not afraid to face the massive Superstar in the ring, or even to insult him to his face. If he makes the giant the focus of his scorn, there is no telling how far he will go to gain retribution.

It's so great that his master plan came after a white knight speech to AJ about how he would always protect her and wouldn't let guys like Big Show hurt her.

But that also means that I'm pretty sure that what he actually asked AJ to do wasn't "get run over by Big Show."

I don't think AJ was "in on the plan" per se. I think as far as she knew, Bryan just asked her to come to ringside during his match for emotional support.

Hardcore Title Changes:
Hardcore Holly loses it back to Crash Holly the next night on Raw to make up for the botched ending at WM.
On an episode of SmackDown, Saturn wins it from Crash, then immediately loses it to Tazz, who then immediately loses it back to Crash.
On an episode of Raw, Matt Hardy wins it from Crash and actually manages to escape the arena with it.
Not for long though, because that week on SmackDown he loses it right back to Crash.

Dean Malenko lost the Light Heavyweight Title to Scotty 2 Hotty on Raw, but then regained it a week and a half later on SmackDown.

Of note: During the few seconds when Saturn was Hardcore Champion, The Radicalz held four different titles! This feat had previously only been accomplished by the Corporation, and has not been accomplished by a stable in WWE since.

Chris Jericho appeared to have defeated Triple H for the WWF Championship, but Trips and Steph used their power to bully the referee, Earl Hebner, into reversing his decision. Then they fired him! Jericho was screwed!

I THINK it's good as long as you're going to be exerting a lot of energy that day. It's quick fuel that you can burn off. If you're just going to be sedentary then it's not as good.

Do not take that as gospel, I could be completely wrong.
