Yes, that's been true for me ever since adolescence. Male peers started to become very difficult for me to relate to around that point.

I wouldn't really call it "dating" because that isn't really something I do, but yes, I'm no stranger to relationships that started online. They're the only kind of relationships I've ever had, including my current marriage.

Because that isn't the final boss. Square-Enix has a habit of putting ridiculously easy final bosses as the actual final boss, while the story final boss is the second to last boss. The final boss was Yu Yevon.

Nobody really counts him because he isn't meant to be lost to (since you have unlimited auto-revives at this point, the only way you can "lose" is by inflicting petrification on your own characters) or pose any real gameplay challenge whatsoever. His "fight" is basically a playable cinematic to wrap up the story.

BFA is clearly meant to serve the "final boss" role, the last potential challenge in the game that the player might reasonably lose to -- so even if he isn't technically the last fight, he's still going to be what's remembered.

But yeah, that is something Square Enix does a lot.

Raven Beak in Metroid Dread is the only standard final boss I can think of that I couldn't beat. I threw myself at him for several hours, became aware that I hadn't succeeded in getting past even the first phase of four, and completely gave up.

To be honest, the first phase I find to be the trickiest because you cannot progress the fight without melee countering, and because of his shielding it's not entirely clear to everyone on how to trigger it or when it even happens. So if it's any consolation, you were stuck on what I'd say is the hardest part of the fight.

Actually, now that I think about it, I do remember at some point reading about the "trick" of switching all the CPUs to human players on the last turn of the game, so that after the game was over you would collect all of the coins/stars the CPUs had gathered.

But this was years after I'd basically finished my time with MP1, so I never put this to use.

It's very obvious to me that it's being saved for the Switch's successor, which likely happened because of the restarted development, and not wanting to force a long-distanced-from-the-series Retro Studios to have to work on (as) underpowered hardware (which wouldn't surprise me if that was at least part of the reason why the development got restarted in the first place)

I'll definitely still play it, but I'm not super eager/hyped over it, so it doesn't matter to me how long it's been taking. Prime was clearly originally intended to just be a trilogy with the 3rd game having a sense of finality (aside from that one little 100% completion post-credits stinger scene which it wouldn't even surprise me if it ends up not even being a plot point in Prime 4), so frankly Prime 4 just comes off to me as a sort of extra/DLC content overall rather than some long-awaited proper continuation to an unfinished story.

All depends how you feel about LDR, so nobody else can answer that for you. Personally, I'm completely fine with it, and am in a nearly 10-year relationship, 5-year marriage that had most of the pre-marriage time spent as LDR (I lived in Hawaii and they lived in France).

If you decide you're open to it, I think you should try communicating about it when she isn't drunk just to make sure she is aware of and still means what she said. I will say the fact that you already have shared a living space before is a benefit; you already have at least some idea of what it would be like.

That FFX-2 happened. X ended meaningfully and poignantly, and X-2 came along to shit all over it.

I don't really feel like DP were necessarily "jank" compared to Platinum, they play/feel quite similar the vast majority of the time, but Plat handles one particular scene in the climax of the story in a different way from DP, and that difference alone makes it worth playing IMO.

Plat also does have more in the way of postgame content (much like Emerald) that you'll want to play that one instead if that sort of thing interests you. If you're just the sort to stop playing once you beat the league though, then that won't matter.

I actually use both theater and theatre depending on whether I'm talking about the location or the practice. For me, a theater is a location, but someone directing a stage play would be doing theatre work. Yes, I realize that is completely arbitrary and a pointless distinction; that's just something I somehow got in the habit of doing.

I was referring more to cutting the price for removing other things, like tomato, lettuce, or whatnot from the burger... not just condiments.

But no, I don't actually try to "negotiate" these things, because that's tacky. The fact remains that I don't wanna pay something like 8-10 bucks (or more) for what's essentially just a plain hamburger, so I just never end up ordering burgers anymore because most places don't sell the kind I want.

Five seasons sounds extremely optimistic.

I would like hamburgers that are literally just a patty and a bun, but nobody ever sells them that way. And even if you can request that everything else be removed from the burger, you usually are not "reimbursed" for it and at that point you are just buying an extremely overpriced plain hamburger.

This topic makes me miss Arby's. It's one of the first fast food chains I ever remember going to as a kid, and I loved their plain roast beef sandwich with nothing else in it. But it was pretty rare in Hawaii (not even sure if it's there at all anymore) and there isn't any around where I live now either.

I would assume if you do it soon after it starts it wouldn't be much different from glancing past the sun normally. (In either circumstance, you definitely shouldn't focus on the sun at all.)

If you've been in a darkened environment for a while though, your eyes will have dilated, potentially making the exposure more dangerous because they're taking in more light. It can also help fool people into thinking it's safer to look at because the brightness of the sun won't seem as apparent, even though it still is.

Well, yeah, it shouldn't be. Only relationship partners and maaaaybe healthcare professionals (if they are in charge of your sexual health in some way) are entitled to such information.

Beyond that, people should only be "announcing" or talking about it because they actually want to. And for the most part, that's generally what happens.
