I'm just tired of nostalgiabaiting reboots and decades-after sequels. Maybe it's confirmation bias but it seems like every big movie that comes out in the past few years has been sold more on nostalgia than anything else.

Wow they got the same actors as the original movies from the 80s. That's groundbreaking. It's never been done before in a reboot. They never do that. It's so original and amazing. Reboots of 80s movies never get the original actors back. It's so incredible that they got the same actors that were in the original movies from the 1980s to reprise their roles for the reboot. That's so exciting.

Wow a sequel to a movie from the 1980s that features some of the original cast. Incredible. So groundbreaking. Never seen that before. That's so new and exciting.

Oh boy, can't wait to see the 2A humpers tie themselves into knots over this one.

The Caprain America game a few years back was the same WW2 timeline. It was fun.

Lydia goes from wearing all black and having a sullen expression to wearing a white undershirt and smiling, symbolizing that she's gone from a negative gothic outlook to embracing a gothic identity while still having some levity and room for fun in her life.

If the director of this movie didn't catch that, there's no chance for the film to be good. It's like making a Back to the Future sequel where Marty is provoked by being called chicken.

So I stay out of the conversations, because I've learned that if you disagree with it just a little bit you will be bound to have some report you. I got put into purgatory for "hate speech" which when I appealed made several valid points but still was in purgatory. I'm also not a fan of censorship I'm an advocate for more speech and not limiting speech

People who have been on this website for over 20 years (such as myself) have witnessed this website turn from a informative game website that gamers can communicate with things outside of video gaming turn into a soapbox of people's ideologies that people get modded for saying things that doesn't fall in line with certain beliefs. I'm a strong believer in free speech, and I think people should be able to speak their mind and if people disagree have a constructive conversation. Sadly, that can never exist on the internet, and things like politics should be left to in person talks. Most people that respond with "Shut the fuck up" really don't have the mental capacity to properly express their thoughts in person.

The idea of what is "sexy" may differ among different people.

Fwiw, the boomers I see at least can process why something is going slow. The gen x and millennials complain but refuse to process the obvious, visually unobstructed reason why something might be slow (e.g. lack of staffing, size of a location, etc).
