Sure, there's some monologues and such that were cut, but Terry Gilliam did a great job of taking a very strange book and putting it on film. Johnny Depp also lived in Hunter S. Thompson's basement for 6 months to learn how to act like him, and they ended up becoming friends. Hunter was actually involved in the production, to the point of even giving the costume department some of the clothing that he wore in iconic photographs of him. I used to work at a place that made kitchen cabinets and things like that, and every year they would put on an event where they would bring in all their regular customers and some new ones, put drinks in their hands and show them all the new products and stuff they've been working on, and then at the end of the day they had a band play. They basically threw a big party to get people drunk and sell them stuff. The year I was working there, they hired Big Sugar as the band. One of the guys brought his girlfriend along to see the show, and he had to take her into the main office area because that's where the only women's washroom was. For a Few Dollars More is much shorter than TGtBatU (2 hours vs 3 hours) but its an action packed movie where you can't miss a scene.I really love A Fistful of Dollars, it's actually a remake of Akira Kurosawa's Yojimbo. While we're on the topic of Kurosawa films being remade in the west, Seven Samurai was remade into the western The Magnificent Seven (another excellent movie) and The Hidden Fortress was remade into the first Star Wars movie. Kurosawa made brilliant films, Ran is an absolute masterpiece based on Shakespeare's King Lear. I will also add on in recommending Once Upon A Time In The West, my favourite Western movie. I'm certainly not a giga-Chad, but I'm not horrible looking either, and I get women interested in me without even trying. I'm gay, so I don't go for it, but I could if I wanted to. I've known guys who were complete losers in life who picked up women all the time, guys who were less attractive than me, far less intelligent, and broke-ass bums to boot. But, they were socially active people who met and talked to women all the time, they got turned down by lots of them but never let that stop them from trying again with someone else. Some of these guys did have the ability to turn on the charm a little bit, but none of them were Casanova, they just knew how to get women to laugh and continue the conversation. Dating apps are bullshit, and guys who pick up women don't need to use them, the old-fashioned method of actually talking to them and not spilling their spaghetti everywhere will never go out of style. --- "I'm the straightest guy on this board. If you look at where the frame is notched out for the deadbolt, there's actually not a lot of wood there. Interior doors are normally even flimsier, you can kick straight through the door, and they're often not held on by very big screws. I once accidentally pulled a closet door right off the frame. Shooting out doors is just a Hollywood thing, if it's strong enough that you can't kick it down, you'll waste a lot of time and ammo on it when you'd be better off using a crowbar or a sledgehammer.
