I was bummed when I logged in that Geralt isnt actually going to be available for like two months(?)

Mine is pretty fun this year.

TMBG was my #1 this year. Doctor Worm was like #10 most played for me, and Ana Ng was #2

it was a weird year where I didnt use Spotify as much as usual, so my top tracks list is a mess.

There was one song in the top 100 that I didnt recognize the name of it or the artist. It was some random song Spotify keeps putting in mixes for me, but Id literally never listened to it on purpose.

right, its a really glaring omission to me in scenes that are paced like actual cutscenes. Like all the Iono stuff has camera angles and shit as if it were a cutscene in a real video game, but its dead silent.

It doesnt even have to be every NPC! Just the cutscenes / major fights would be fine! Every fucking game has it at this point and unlike the models/animation, theres nothing about Pokmon that should make voice acting more difficult than the average game.

I met an NPC that alluded to it but I forgot where. Of course, it wasn't an exact guide so it might be even more frustrating.

yeah because the actual specifics of it are kind of unintuitive and silly (spoilers for Nanis here but just save yourself and look at this Nanis) you have to get 1000 steps with Pawmo following you around, which wouldnt be such a big deal except it has to be all at once. Pawmo cant return to its ball during the 1000 steps.
Which is a problem, because these Pokmon have a lot of trouble keeping up with you if youre not going deliberately slow, and theyll just return to the ball if you get too far away.

oh and then after the 1000 steps, before returning to the ball, it has to level up. so any hint in the game like Pawmo will evolve if you walk around with it a lot! is just going to be too vague to actually help.

it seems incredibly unlikely to me that anyone would stumble into it without foreknowledge

I dunno how anyone would casually figure out how to evolve Pawmo without a guide unless theres an NPC in the game who explains it

I have the same situation, my birthdays the 27th. Im not a big birthday party guy, so I dont super mind it, and it was alright when I was a kid because it meant a sort of big get together and gifts from family type people I wouldnt otherwise see.

No important NPC to talk to...or hell, a NPC to talk to in general. They don't talk to you they just have speech bubbles above their head and it's the most generic text possible, like "it's a nice day today" or the like

you can talk to the people with the speech bubbles. Theyre basically pointless unless the speech bubble is yellow though
