no trackpads is kind of a big deal imo. Also looking at the benchmarks it doesnt really perform that much better in fps than the deck if you are doing 1080p.

Am I just that out of touch? Because its crazy to me to pay like double or triple the good amount in fees and tips to just get food delivered.

This is a small bathroom, with just two stalls. My wife was having trouble changing our daughter, and she yelled for me to come in. I opened the door, announced man coming in, no one said anything since it was empty.

I started helping my wife change our daughter, and just about when we were finished, a woman enters the bathroom and sees me inside. She legit screams at me, saying shit like Im a pervert and get the fuck out. I just brushed her off and left with my wife and daughter.

We then just continued our business inside this building. Then some time later, fucking security comes with her to me, and shes like thats the guy in the womans bathroom!. I explained why I was in there, and security just brushed her off, told me to dont do it again in a monotone voice this girl saw he wasnt serious, so she threatened to call the police and shit.

This is an issue with the employee, not the wfh policy. In my company, the ones that are shit at responding while wfh were just as shit at responding when in office. Many emails/phone calls/voicemails of mine have been ignored and I'd have to stalk their desk so I could face to face with them.

Bring it up with their manager and yours, make sure they are aware of the timeline, then stop worrying about it so much. Yeah it sucks you had to pay a vendor an extra $23k but that isn't your problem or your money. When management comes breathing down your neck, you simply tell them you were blocked by x person and that you attempted x amount of times to get a reposnse from them and their manager. You did all you could so it's not your fault the contracts lapsed, it's those employees.

Yup almost all of my work is dependent on others.

Its literally not this. I cant get my work done efficiently because of this shit. For example, Ive burned five weeks with contracts and procurement to pay a vendor $23k, because these fuckers just arent responsive when theyre working from home 3 of the 5 days. When theyre in the office, it moved along; not when theyre home.

I dont have control over their work. But I have let their managers subtly know, via cc-ing them and stuff. Its ridiculous. Its always the same type of people, those who work in procurement, contracts, or IT.

Its extremely obvious why people want to work from home, because newsflash theyre not actually working, but rather doing other shit.

In my experience, when people work from home (during their designated time of working), theyre unreachable. I call them, text them, or teams message them, and they dont respond until much later.

Had to actually close a no-penalty CD to get some money out of it to pay off all this, actually. That random ~$4,700 bill from the hospital threw us off.

Once everything hits and leaves our bank account, and we get back to normal in the next couple of weeks, might re-open the no-penalty CD again, albeit at a lower amount.

We use this card for general use, since it's 2% back on everything. Abnormally high this month because we finally got ~$4,700 billed from the hospital for the birth of our child (which happened almost a year ago).

Samsung, on the other hand, has significant difference between the S23 and the S23 Ultra; why cant they just make the S23 but have the same camera system?

Same with Google Pixels, with 7 vs 7 Pro (cameras and RAM are actually different).
