I don't even know how often czech people use "republic" in their own language to refer to their county.

At least in German we don't. It's just Tschechien (for Czechia), I can't remember evere hearing "Tschechische Republik".

About sound of "the": Can't say any about that either, but for me growing up with the german language it doesn't sound strange either.

Sometimes wie simply add some article to countries too. Like "Die Trkei" for "(the) Turkey", die Ukraine for "The Ukraine", and we have the same for Chad, Netherlands, Kosovo and other countries or regions too.

We did it for "the" BRD and "the" DDR too, as well as for the sowjet union.

I mean, most monarchs have such a legal immunity, including the Kings and Queens in Europe.

You can say this about literally anything you don't appreciate about life.

Instead of 'sleeping' in the topic replace with 'drive to work', 'seeing a doctor', 'brushing your teeth', 'vacuuming', or whatever you personally feel is a waste of time and you can say you gained more life by absolving you of it.

I mean, sleeping is nice because it feels good, but this deal also includes to be always well rested.

And if you want to skip some time or sleep to wind down, you can still sleep instantly on demand.

There is also the problem of having trouble to sleep, or having a bad sleep. This get's fixed too, and it's especially nice if you are sick or in pain.

Does anyone know the actual reason the studio is shutting down? All of the games available in the West are popular, and if you like that sort of thing at all, the studio does have name recognition...not all of which is entirely positive, of course.

I've seen this posted in several areas where adult Japanese content is discussed, and nobody seems to know what the deal is.

Yeah, but people don't pay for their porn, at least not in the west, so they pirate everything they can.

No, being a "gamer" is not about what kind of games you play, but how, when, why, and so on.

Best definition is probably made by the person in question itself. If the person says they are a gamer, or would put gaming into their hobbies, they are a gamer.

If they say "Nah, I'm no gamer, I just play some mobile games like CandyCrush while waiting at the bus stop" then they are not. But that has nothing to do with Candycrush or mobile games.

The game is really terrible with the concept of time, especially when traveling is involved.

AFAIK, no one doubts the fact that there were 2 explosions after 3 AM.

Unless you have a clear and concise methodology for scoring, a 6 to a 7 can be seen as something done on a whim or arbitrary.

That's the problem.

Not knowing what the score means from a specific person.

If you know the person, and know they rate stuff, you know if an 8 is strong score, or a weak one.

If you have one person raiting many things, the score is much better, because it gives you some kind of consistent ranking.

If you have many people raiting a single thing, I would say that the score is supposed to be better too. But you need many people for it, and have to check for the 1/10 haters and free 10/10 shills.

Either War Cleric / Paladin or Full sorc.

Depending on the classes my 2 buddies finally settle on.

If both is going to he taken, probably going for arcane trickster or assassin.

Details are going to be decided on the fly.

I can speak on neither of those games nor BG3, since I'm waiting for the PS5 version, but yea, I don't think we often see the complexity/options of CRPGs on a AAA level.

I've played a lot of PoEII, though, but couldn't finish it due to technical issues.

anyway, I liked it, and a bunch of side content was engaging, but imagining stuff like that voiced over (like in DoS2), or given cinematics could be a game changer for a lot of people.

I'm afraid it's all about marketing and hype.

Believe me, I will be playing Baldur's Gate 3 on the day it releases, but it somewhat saddens me that other games (Like Pathfinder WotR, or Pillars of Eternity) only get a fraction of that popularity.

And they have nice voice overs too. They just lack the big cutscenes and dialog visuals we know from the AAA games like Mass Effect. That's it.

I think they're talking about more than just quality - different options, length, cinematics, mechanics, visuals, etc.

even with AAA RPGs, you don't really see them offering what BG3 will.

That's because these RPGs are rarely AAA and complex at the same time.

But cinematics and some visuals aside?

If you look at the past you have obviously the old Baldur's gate games or Neverwinter Nights.

And a bit closer past we have Pathfinder Kingmaker & Wrath of the Reightous as well as Pillars of Eternity.

It would certainly help if moderations would be more transparent to the community.

And it would also help if modded topics would not get nuked down by default, but at least get locked or just the TC moderated.

I feel like usually someone posts something moddable in a topic with a lot of posts so people are already looking for it to happen (and if the topic is political, potentially is hoping the person gets punished).

That's one way, but the easier one is to get tagged by someone who is checking his tagged people regulary.

The friendlist (people with tags included) shows the current account level, and therefore warned/suspended/purged/banned status.

That's why we always see who is suspended, but not always can say why exactly.

Holy shit dude like 400 dollars?!

He uses it for his 2nd summer now, and basically in every room.

In the living room, pc room, bed room, everywhere, because he has no other AC and the windows in his appartment are all facing east or south.

So yes, he just takes the whole thing and moves it.

Buddy of mine has such a Dyson tower fan thing.

It works great, is incredibly light (so can be moved in any room all the time) and isn't that loud.

EDIT: But I'm not in Texas, so you may need something bigger

But for the amount of activity he has here and had on 261 that's still nothing, so I was still pretty surprised.

The "no sleep" is just way too attractive.

It's basically a "you never get (mentally) tired (with the exception of hard physical work)" and "you always have perfect sleep whenever you want", with the bonus of having extra time if you DON'T want to sleep right now.

Getting the benefits of perfect sleep 24/7, without even having to sleep is going to be even better if you become sick or do some exhausting work.

Hell, even the "you can fall asleep whenever you want within 20 seconds" is pretty nice in such situations.

Banned no.

But it probably would end up with some suspension and my first karma lost, I don't want that :(

The AI didn't say she was safe, the AI said it was a 39% chance of a something bad happening and any human would know that is too high of a risk. I think the AI made a good assessment but the humans should make a decision on the data given. Like the article said it is a yard stick not a decision maker.

The mistake didn't happen by the AI, the mistake happend by the person accepting that.

They AI said "it could be fine", but it's up to the humans to put this into perspective, into context, or get more information to get to a better decision.

Never should have such a process a single point of failure anyways, doesn't matter if human or AI, because a single person can always decide wrong.
