If you like not having magicka regenerate, you might look into the Vancian magic branch of Ordinator's Alteration tree. Never been my cup of tea, but you might like it.

And make sure to get Apocalypse (new magic spells), Summermyst (new enchantments), and Thunderchild (new shouts) as well; to me they're no less essential than Ordinator. Enai's other overhauls never appealed to me as much (or I didn't have the free space for them due to console limitations), but I'd recommend checking them out too.

At one time, yes. I really liked the addition of Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough as judges (Heidi was just kinda there, Howie was quickly becoming Diet Coke Simon, and Mel B was dumb as a sack of bricks), and I told myself that if they screwed up and couldn't manage to keep them on for longer than a season, I was probably going to lose interest. But as it turned out, the season after they left was the pandemic season, so I don't feel like I missed out on a whole lot.

To me, being vaccinated was better than being President of the United States (especially considering the last guy). Even before I first wandered into the local civic center for my first shot I knew I wanted to be a part of them. It was there that I knew that I belonged. To me, it meant being a smartass in the neighborhood that was full of dumbasses. They werent like anybody else. I mean, they did whatever they wanted. They walked right into Walmart without a mask on and nobody ever game them a lecture. In the summer when they didn't social distance all night, nobody ever called the cops.

Yeah, Deathclaws are pushovers in this game, unfortunately. Robotic enemies are where the challenge is at in Fallout 4: Sentry Bots are absolutely relentless and will mop the floor with you in the midgame, and Assaultron Dominators are serious threats even well into lategame. Not to mention some of the OP Automatron scrapbots that can assault you in the wild.

Yeah, Skinny can be encountered again as a friendly (for him) NPC who complains about being evicted. He also says he wants to sock you in the mouth, which is a very stupid thing to say to someone in upgraded power armor. I let him live once, though, so I continued that streak.

Yeah, I can see how that would be good to have. I cleared Nuka-World's first two missions yesterday, though, so it's no biggie anymore. Kinda want that special X-01 power armor in the space-themed area, but I remember how annoying it was previously to collect 30+ MacGuffins. I'm over LV30 now, so maybe I can go to that raider hideout that has respawning power armor and try to get X-01s that way.

Most of the Star Cores are in the Galactic Zone, which is fun for me because I love exploring that place (barring occasional freezing / crashing issues in the exterior). There's only 4-5 outside the GZ, and only one of those is outside the park proper (at the junkyard to the west).

I always choose to wipe out the raiders first chance I get, but this time I took it one step further and trekked to the power plant immediately afterwards to turn on the park's power, something I'm going to do on every future playthrough. So nice having not having to wait until the end to have the rides powered up, not to mention the areas blocked off until the power's restored (such as the GZ observation tower, which incidentally contains a Star Core and - under normal circumstances - gatekeeps you from getting the Quantum X-01 suit until after the questline).

It takes serious balls for Scribe Haylen to, on my first mission, send me all the way to Far Harbor to clear out a bowling alley. I'd almost think it was a joke if it didn't happen every playthrough, haha. Oh well, more bowling ball ammo for me.

We're talking about a virus that has a death rate of, what, 1.25% or so? Why restrict people's freedoms for that? If people want to get the vaccine to protect themselves, do it (especially if they are in the high risk category of old age, obesity, or have a pre-existing condition). Others who don't want to shouldn't have their freedom to move about the country taken away.

If we were dealing with a far more serious virus with a death rate of something like 40% or even 15% I'd be much more open to vaccine passports/IDs being a thing.

Now give me your take on why you favor a vaccine passport.

I've completed the game twice and I couldn't tell you. I'm pretty sure the writers themselves couldn't tell you. All I remember is the villain having some shady past with Cid, a giant extradimensional shadow monster, and the annoying girl side character having secret plot-related powers. Most of the game's main quest missions completely ignore the overarching plot - even the second to last main quest mission has no relevance to the plot, just some bullshit about tracking down a couple of idiot copycats impersonating Vaan and Penelo.

Imagine a version of Skyrim where the dragons and Alduin are rarely ever brought up during the main quest, and the second-to-last main quest mission is tracking down some low-rent Brynjolf impersonator in Riften. Then at the last second someone realizes 'oh yeah, I guess you'd better go deal with that Alduin guy before he, y'know, eats the world and everything.' That's FFTA2's plot.

Even though I liked FFTA, I wouldn't consider it particularly great storytelling. But hell, even it understood the importance of keeping the plot relevant to the missions, and pacing it accordingly - by comparison it's second-to-last quest was the epic final showdown between your clan and Clan Ritz.

I think my favourite character was definitely Boone who was a 100% conservative hero who loved the army.

I'd say the guy who welcomed an early death because he believed that blindly following orders caused him to be haunted and cursed for the rest of his life doesn't strike me as a poster child for the military.

Yeah, I can see how this would be nice. I'd like to throw Bill Sutton's corpse away when he has an oopsy-daisy behind Warwick Farmstead, too.

Be aware the Bill Sutton dying prematurely will break the later Institute quest related to Warwick (by preventing it from ever starting) , should you have any interest in doing it (it's one of the side quests that can be done before you lock in your faction choice).

I'm in the habit of unlocking Warwick as a settlement, setting up a ton of turrets, and then never revisiting (if I can help it) until after said quest has concluded. And I frequently check the settlement stats in the menu to make sure 6 people are still living there.

Wolfgang and Simone are among a sizeable list of NPCs whose corpses never despawn. The Unofficial Patch corrects these instances and despawns them, but I'm a weirdo who doesn't want this issue corrected, so I don't use the patch for that and a number of other reasons. Anyway, yes, his corpse in particular is one of those that occasionally spawns raiders / scavengers, so anywhere you drag it, the spawning effect will follow it.

Very simple and effective convenience mod that's never given me any issues.

Also, legitimate settlement attacks on Sanctuary are pretty rare compared to other settlements. Occasionally you'll have a random monster or two waltz in (turned around one time fairly recently to find poor Sturges being suplexed by a Deathclaw for no discernable reason), but compared to places like County Crossing, Finch Farm, Greentop, and Nordhagen, Sanctuary rarely gets attacked.

I've been thinking about buying Big Boy once I get a second rank of the Cap Collector (?) perk, because it's so damn expensive right now -- over 11000 caps. Not sure how the Two-Shot prefix works with the MIRV upgraded.

According to the wiki, an MIRV-enhanced Big Boy will fire 12 mini nukes per shot (while only consuming one round, of course). It's also fully compatible with the Nuka-Nuke mod.

Such a pity that Fallout 4 does such a piss-poor job at reading splash damage on enemies, though. I swear to goodness I've seen more enemies walk completely unscathed through a nuke blast by hiding behind a single fence post, barbed wire, or six-inch difference in elevation than I've seen actually take damage from one.
