At or within a few days of release. At the time it didn't really grab me; I enjoyed it, but by the end of the playthrough the rampant quest-breaking bugs killed what goodwill I'd had for the game - even the legendary Vault 11 was ruined by a bug (the turrets in the sacrificial chamber were incorrectly assigned House's faction, so defending yourself against them would fail House's main questline).

But Obsidian did an admirable job of ironing out most of the bugs, and my first playthrough of Dead Money about half a year later left me absolutely hooked. It ended up becoming my personal game of the decade.

Best Buy had a special place in my heart for a brief period in the mid-2000's, when the DVD craze was in full swing and all the old TV shows were getting a second life in physical media; Best Buy had shelves upon shelves of DVD box sets, often at excellent prices.

But beyond that, they've always been horrible. If they're not deliberately making your customer experience worse, they're thoroughly ignorant of the products they're selling. My personal favorite was when I was looking for a copy of 'The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas' for my mom's birthday; the clerk I asked for help gave me a look liked I'd slapped his own mother for a second before stammering out 'Uh, we...we don't sell those kinds of movies here.'

Because the first game in the series is actually a remake of a portion of the original game. I wouldn't be surprised if the future parts have different subtitles instead of "Remake," like other R words. Or they may turn it into "Final Fantasy VII R: *insert subtitle*"

My money's on 'Revelations' or 'Revolutions.' Because it's always one of those two.

Not the worst one but an honorable mention is breath of the wild. They worked on the final boss being grand rather than fun or even remotely hard. Its literally just Shoot the targets. Except replace targets with glowing points on a giant beast who moves slow as hell and has only one attack thats easy to dodge.

Agreed. BotW was my runner-up for game of the decade after New Vegas and was this close to finally beating out Link to the Past for the franchise crown imo, but it tripped hard at the finish line with a lackluster final boss and ending.

Photoshop, but I have the advantage of being a graphic designer. If I'm going to waste time on the company dime browsing CE, making the occasional Trent meme is honestly more fun and rewarding than reading most of the topics / posts here.
