IIRC it's part of something called the "nasal cycle". your body keeps swapping back and forth between having one nostril more open than the other, and then back the other way. so, it should improve after a while (not sure on the duration of the cycles).

There's a fair number of shooting games that allow for nut-shots. And again, most teenagers who play them tend to go for them exclusively, while giggling the entire time.
looking it up, you could aim for the groin in Fallout 1 and 2. which makes those the only games I've ever seen/remember with that feature.

is that game meant to be funny? (lol it actually shows the testicles...) I guess a realistic sniper sim would almost have to have that, not including the visuals.

I hate that one. doctors still do that to adults. "this might be uncomfortable". just tell me it will hurt but that it won't be damaging or problematic. I don't care about the pain itself as long as I know you know it's not damaging me. and if I know it's supposed to hurt then I can safely ignore it. if you tell me it won't hurt and it does hurt a lot, then that starts to be a problem. /rant

In my experience, not a lot of games write to the registry anymore. I've done the drag and drop method hundreds of times and never had an issue other then desktop shortcuts being broken (which I never use).
yes it's modern practice to avoid the registry, but it still breaks things (can break things) unnecessarily. you will no longer be able to uninstall, your icons will be broken, other paths in other places can be broken, there's no end to the possible things that can break, and it would now be in both a not uninstallable yet broken state. (just because it runs doesn't mean you didn't break it either.)

generally your save files shouldn't need moving unless you change windows profiles. (generally uninstalling will not remove things like save files. back them up if you want to be sure, but they shouldn't have anything to do with installation/uninstallation. sometimes there can be an option for "remove settings files" which will clear those parts.)

rule of thumb should be: if you installed it, then uninstall it to move it. moving something that you installed breaks it for no good reason, polluting your system unnecessarily. it's just bad practice.

if it's on steam you can change the install folder to a different drive (didn't used to be so easy)

if it's installed from like a disc or something you should uninstall and then reinstall it to the other drive.

"drag and drop" would only be for something that didn't install in the first place, like if you downloaded a file and ran that file and that runs the game with no install.

(as you mentioned if you move the installation files for something that is installed through Windows you will break various things, including the shortcut, as well as the uninstallation process, and possibly just won't work if there are registry values or dlls to register and that sort of thing.)

tricky because there should be a difference between a "magical being" and a mage. otherwise I could say post-ruin Kefka or something.

a mage should be a mortal who has devoted themselves exclusively to study and research and progressing in knowledge and skill at the expense of everything else.

in terms of ambition and relative power my first thought would be Jon Irenicus (BG2) but there's probably someone better somewhere else.

Its obviously an all-in love letter to RE, closer to the games down to the details rather than superwoman Alice, and indications of better acting too.
Maybe this could turn out to be a pretty good live-action RE film after all, for what it is.
Regardless of how it turns out, it will help to keep the RE franchise relevant and thats always good.
basically my thoughts, though I'm not a _huge_ RE fan

Weirdly, this didnt happen in my town or something. The Wii was pretty good. Most of my friends were able to easily get them. The Target store I worked at got 64 when I got one, for example. Where both Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 only got less than 20 each. I think it was just that so many people wanted it. They made a bunch, but it just sold well, from why I can tell Unless youre saying that all three companies were holding back. And if that was the case, Nintendo was still releasing probably as many as they could
yeah I don't recall a shortage of Wiis, in fact my family liked it so much we ended up buying at least three of them all at once.

That's what he's getting at: If 100% of your stock is selling, that generally means you can increase the price without losing sales. You'll eventually hit a point where less than 100% sells, at which point you've overpriced it, but until that point is reached, you can go higher.
yeah. that's a dangerous game to play though, especially with something like a console where it's not just about the sale of the console, but the sale of games down the road. there is more reason than a normal product to increase the number of sales and not just profit from sales.

(maybe even more than just sale of games; the whole "life" of the console depends directly on number of purchases; online experience, demand for new games, etc. (may even be contributing to the overall problem; not sure of the actual cost of a console but it is likely already being sold at low or even negative profit margins, hence the huge demand))

Mechanicus is like X-Com apparently, not that I've played that. (so, squad-based TBS). it's VERY hard on default settings. also it has one of the best intros ever:

Age of Wonders I don't think I ever played anything from the series... but is IS a Paradox game so I probably "should" like it but won't. IDK. I tried EU and Crusader Kings but they just aren't my thing. Still love Mount & Blade........ so I should probably check out Bannerlord if it's not too glitchy
Age of Wonders is different than most Paradox games (it's not really a paradox game they just bought it). EU is "grand strategy" (not 100% sure what that means). Age of Wonders is more like a turn-based "skirmish" game, sort of, if that makes sense. like Warcraft 3 or Sins of a Solar empire, but turn-based. (so more like Lords of Magic or Heroes of Might and Magic.)

they're very hard on normal difficulty (I find). but also, great games. I would actually recommend starting at AoW 1, which is probably the best, though it can be hard to get into.

AoW PlanetSide reboots the series (though I haven't beat it yet, so for all I know they're connected in some way but not as far as I know) as Sci-Fi. It makes the campaign maps randomized, which is good and bad. It uses the Amplitude Studios idea (found in Endless Legend and now Humankind (though for all I know it came from elsewhere)) of having regions/zones on a 4x style map, with a 1-city per region limit rather than letting you build cities anywhere.

oh? How does that work?
at the lowest-but-still-positive profitable price, the most number of people buy one, but you make almost no profit.

at the highest-price-that-some-people-will-still-pay, you make a ton of profit on each sale, but sell too few of them to be profitable overall.

somewhere in the middle this is optimized such that your profit-per-item-sold and number-of-sales combine into maximum profit.

(I suppose you could say that since demand is maximized and 100% of items are being sold regardless of price, then the price should be higher. but the strategy would apply to final sales totals, not short-term, and demand is only maxed out temporarily.)

not a smoker, but my personal advice for overcoming a habit:

try to extract a feeling of satisfaction out of avoiding it. your automatic reaction would be to get satisfaction out of giving in to the habit, and frustration at not, so focus on re-wiring that process to get satisfaction from _avoiding_ the habit instead. (it's not easy, and not *super* effective, but it does work for me to some degree).

no, the right price is not "the highest price possible that someone somewhere will still pay". there's actually a 'sweet spot' in the middle somewhere where things average out.

(and a step further, if you want to get at the people that ARE willing to pay more, that's why you have collector's editions and things like that; options for the people who want to pay more for the best possible option. and then maybe, cheaper options with less features, for those who can't afford or don't want to pay more than the minimal possible amount.)
