They were all drugged up and mostly assholes to each other, fucked over by garbage ass Miles Copeland constantly, but all of their albums are easily my favorite musical contribution anyone or any group has ever made. It's just perfect to me and I've never heard anything really move on with their style at all other than individual members of the band

Huh? Defense exists in Bloodborne... It's more about timing dodges and parries than blocking but it's very much part of the game. Pretty much the whole purpose behind having a gun in Bloodborne is for parrying. I don't think I used them much for anything else save for using the cannon or flamethrower for offense on certain enemies.Well yeah but I like to observe more in my reactions. Just taking hits to learn was a lot less fun for me. The shield lets me see more before I die so I get used to timings. Bloodborne I beat mostly just spamming the chikage and hoping to tons of success, and that wasn't much fun either.
