Also, the unrealistic video game women look way different from the "unrealistic" real women. I do think the base terminology of "unrealistic" is hurting the argument being made. Since video games use highly stylized visuals to emphasize the attractiveness of certain body types, I would suggest that instead of trying to make aesthetically unappealing women (and I don't think this is the goal artists and designers acrually set out to achieve), it would be more productive to aim for aesthetically pleasing or interesting visuals of diverse sorts of women.

Anyone being honest with themselves has certainly noticed this trend of western devs making the female characters in video games unattractive on purpose. The make them more mannish looking, less feminine, etc.

"Being honest with themselves" does not, in fact, automatically involve falling for insane conspiracy theories, but in fact requires one to have been pre-exposed to delusions first, in a scenario likened to a cult.

Behind the scenes, all the female characters you love and hate (including Bridget) are all very good friends and they have private girly tea parties and watch scary movies together and you will never be invited.

The ratio of ass hole teachers to good teachers would probably benefit the good teachers more if teaching was a more rewarding job. Asshole teachers probably find the job a lot more rewarding because they get to do what they want to do (child abuse) while working.

Naw, that's because Lucas based the OT on cars from the 60's and the prequels on cars from the 50's. The 50's were peak "of the future!" with super slick designs and the like where the 60's were all about "the working man" with cars that did work. And the drop in droids was because the same as it is in real life: human lives are cheaper.

The first part is background production information (true though), and the second part is basically what I said but less general.

I always figured that the real reason for the perceived downgrade in technology between the original and prequel trilogies was that the prequels took place in some of the most lavish parts of the civilized galaxy, while the original trilogy took place in the armpits and the boonies of society, and literally uninhabited planets. With the sequels, they mostly stick to the original trilogy aesthetics because it is once again a battle between guerilla fighters on the outskirts and the heavily armed empire. They stopped using battle droids and the like because obviously they just weren't very sensible. Literal genetically engineered super soldiers we're more sensible, and they stopped doing that too because it turns out that normal ass dudes did the job fine and clone armies are a stupid idea.
