That's completely false.

The way to leverage their power is to promise X number of votes if the candidate pushes their preferred policy. Promising to withhold votes always leads to the group doing the threatening... being ignored and ostracized.

The book and movie Lolita highlighted a problem in society. Nowadays, that nuance is gone. Instead, we get blanket bans and people who say that such a thing is makes the problem acceptable.

Hell, that loss in nuance can even be seen here at this site. You are instantly moderated if you post the Youtube clip from South Park showing how the police react to the sexual relationship between Ike and his schoolteacher.

The clip shows how there's a double-standard in teacher-student relations. Where women teachers tend to get light or no sentence when engaging in statutory rape of a male minor. But instead of recognizing how there's a double-standard, even this site sees the clip as just support for statutory rape, instead of it's critique.

So yeah, in 2008, we could understand nuance, satire, and cutting critiques. Nowadays, no... that nuance is gone.

For the Flash, they gave him this superpower called the Speed Force, which is basically the ability to "nuh duh" any logical or physical problems with his speed.

Blueshifting light out of the visible spectrum? Nuh uh, speed force.

Impossibility of FTL? Nuh uh, speed force.

Already, there are several exploration and mining projects in Greenland focused on a number of the critical minerals such as: Cobalt, Graphite, Niobium, Platinum Group Metals, Rare Earth Metals, Tantalum, Titanium and Vanadium. However, these projects only cover comparatively small areas of the prospective areas, so the potential for new discoveries are significant. In addition, the report states the potential for Hafnium, Lithium and Silicon metals as high even though these minerals have not seen focused exploration efforts in Greenland so far.
